There's no better time to get started than when your back's against the wall. Sometimes it takes sliding to the abyss to kickstart something that will change your life.

I know you are feeling like nothing will ever work for you. I've been there and it's a horrible situation. You won't like what I'm about to say but here's the truth as I see it...

Concentrate on your life for now. Try and piece it back together slowly bit by bit. Try your hardest to find a job you like and another partner.. heck if you WANT your wife back then move heaven and earth to get that.

Three things, from experience, are responsible for happiness.

1. A partner you love and who loves you.
2. A place to call home.
3. A job/income you like and live comfortably from.

I advise you to work and piece together those three things.

Once you are on track, look back into this Internet Marketing playground. I promise it will still be here. However, it's much easier to see the trees from wood when your mind is in the right place and you don't have such heavy burden to carry.

You "noticed" it from who, based on what? Seems like a vague assumption to me.

Without even looking at your site, I'm going to hazard a guess that not waiting long enough and not doing keyword research are probably the two reasons why it's not making you money.

Without proper keyword research, getting traffic is like trying to win the lottery. No traffic = no money.

Contrary to what you may have been led to believe in the many flashy headlines for sales letters that you have read, making money online takes time so unless you are driving traffic with PPC, you need to be prepared to put in the time and the work necessary for it to pan out.

Here are some steps:

1) Review your own areas of expertise and what products or services you can offer accordingly. Example: what skills did you use for the past 12 years on your old job?

2) Check out competition for #1 above on the web and see which sites rank high, what they look like, how and what they are selling, their linking structure, etc.

3) Dig in to compete.

Focus come here for help as needed, and grow a business.

It sounds like you have been trying IM for just a few months? Is that what I am understanding? If that is the case, then you've got your mindset all wrong. First of all, (and you are finding this out) instant money doesn't usually come with internet marketing.

Thing is, you should be looking at the whole thing as building a business. If you want instant money then get a job. If you are new to IM don't expect to make any money for a while unless you get lucky. So maybe you ought to go find another job and work on your business part time until you make money.

if your serious about this, you just need to do some more research, and ask questions like your doing now... you can find everything you need without buying a course and wasting your money on it..

I know things might be hard right now, you just got to try and focus..

Here's my advice:

Find A Hungry Niche

Firstly, you need to find a group of hungry people. People that are hungry for a solution to their problem. They need to be buyers and desperate buyers.

Like:

• Dog Training
• Weightloss
• Wedding Speeches
• ETC

These people are generally looking for a quick solution to their problem and are willing to pay for that information if it'll solve their problem quickly and painfully.

Anyway, here's what's next:

Market Research


Forget keyword research for now. You need to find out exactly what problems or issues people are having so you can fix them up witht he solution.

In this example I'm going for Dog Training. Go over to Google and search for dog training forums. Also use Yahoo Answers and similar.

Grab yourself a pen and paper and scan through the forum posts writing down what problems people are having with their dogs and what questions they are asking.

I did it and found that the most popular issues were:

• Puppy chewing
• Puppy messing in house
• Dogs barking at people
• ETC

This is the most important phase. You HAVE to know your market. You need to know your customers and their genuine needs. Nothing beats hearing it from the horses mouth.

Now what?

Find an Offer

So now you've got a group of peoplee that want to solve a set of problems (or one problem) you can search Clickbank (or anywhere else, even your own product) for a product that will solve these issues.

There are some hot dog training products on CB with excellent affiliate tools to use as well as free reports branded with your hoplink.

Anyway...

Oiling The Machine

Now that you know what your market wants and you've found a product that will solve their problem, you can start creating your sales funnel.

This is it:

• A wordpress blog
• A Squeeze page with a free report
• An auto-responder series with small nuggets of valuable information
• Schedule your emails to send 3 informative articles per 1 promotional email.
• Sign up with as many dog training forums as you can
• Get mingling and answer questions. Position yourself as the expert.
• Create a signature with a link to your blog/squeeze page with a good call to action.

If you post in each forum at least 5 times per day for each forum I guarantee you will get some click-throughs and opt-ins which will be taken through your email series.

This is how you make money online, my friend.

If you wanted to you could do some keyword research and write some good quality articles and post on your blog for additional search traffic.

It all starts with mingling with your market where they hang out.

Dude, your site needs a total redo! You don't have affiliate linking set up on it at all. Try to contact me, 'cause whoever you've been listening to up to this point has been killin ya! Lemme guess, trickle traffic and zero sales, right?

If you have money to spend on adwords but they dont accept you, why not buy ads space at popular blogs or forum relating to your niche.

or rent an email add with somebody who has subscribers in the niche to sent out promo emails and link to your site. Try advertise it with this.

Is there a local bulletin/online news that allow link ad, then grab a spot,say one week trial to promote your products.

These are high traffic site.

but for instant solution since you are fired, find a offline job to secure food and shelter first. Works in any field you can find, offer house panting service, that is very basic that doesn't requires any serious skill.

Since you know how to setup a wordpress site, send out flyers and reach out to business premises and offer your web building service plus SEO - gain first page on Google..

Find a freelancer to conduct the SEO (check out WSO section).

First, it's too soon for you to give up. I failed at least 70 times before making any real money, you're just at the beginning. The easiest and fastest way to make money online is to offer a service as a freelancer but make sure to master this service first choose it something close to your ex-job.

Arrggh..this is when life cant be called a life anymore. Step back a bit and go back to step number one. Research is an essential step in internet marketing. Use google keyword external tool, it'll help you.

Honestly, I suggest you to find a job FAST to pay your bills
Once you have a job and a steady paycheck then get back
into business. If you just keep doing what you are doing right
now you might end up driving yourself insane.

Steady cashflow is key in this business. You need some money
to get going, test out stuff, or develop stuff.

If you start spending money on advertising that you need for
bills it's going to get worse.

It doesn't matter what job you get. Just get something to get
you by. Think of it as a temporary solution. Work some job for
6 months while building your passive online income stream at
the same time. Then you can quit your job and scale up.

Most of us who started and became successful got our starts as service providers.

For many, it is a natural starting point. Figure out what you can do, then offer yourself to others as a service provider.

I had the same damn problem in 2000, found myself going into adult sites, Made a few thousand the first 2 weeks and was hooked every since! But that money tree has gone.. lol unless you know what you're doing and you work hard! I've been doing adult since 2000 and it is so much easier to get into and make a few dollars! Since you are not an experienced internet marketer, you won’t make enough money now. First of all you have to learn many things. Keep reading all posts in this forum, and you’ll learn a lot with time.

Internet marketing is a whole system. Don’t believe that it is easy to make money on the internet. It becomes easy only if you know what to do. I've noticed things started to change in my life tremendously, as I started to believe in myself. I'm very convinced that one gets in his life what he really believes he deserves (this might not be conscious). So, whenever you want to do/change anything - start from working on your beliefs and your vision. It's tons and tons of inner work, but I don't know any road that's faster than that.

Try reading... no, not reading... seriously working with "Beyond Positive Thinking" by Robert Anthony. (there are tons of books like that out there, I've just picked that one, cause it really appealed to me).

So, this is my sincere and best advice I can give you - never lose your faith and always start working on the level of your beliefs. When you change your beliefs - everything else will change automatically. Best of luck and season's greetings!
