Intranet Software

Hi All

Im looking to get a decent Intranet setup for my forthcoming Internet Marketing business.

Any one got any good tips as to what software is best to use / buy ?

    I've used Intranet Dashboard. It's OK, but tough to embed videos into your pages.

    Tons of nice tools and really secure/easy to use.

    Tad bit expensive, though.

    Hi Mark,

    Ok, I use an Extranet rather than an intranet mostly because my customers and contractors are scattered around the world and in different time zones.

    I use mostly a help desk script that has an admin chat facility and I can control the majority of tasks for outsourcing through this by allocating customer inquiries to specific departments or queues and or contractors, I also use a couple of other scripts for very specific purposes like putting a contract out to contractors to bid on and another for following up on work in progress.

    I have recently installed a full CRM system for a client that may be suitable for your needs.

    I think we need to have a chat - I can give you a call or if you are attending the London Lunch at the end of this week I can meet you there.

    Again, this is something I want to be able to get up and running next month, Im looking for a sultion that runs on unix server and is preferably open source. something that all outsourcers eventually can log into and work from, in addition to remote staff etc. I need to include project planning too.

    Ive seen alot of good solutions but way too much money to consider at the moment.
