How To Deal With "Laying Around" Useless Domains ?

Hi!

As marketers we buy a lot of domains, but not all of them are winners and we just have to deal with it ...

I have dozens of successful sites and i have domains with both godaddy and namecheap, but in both accounts i have a handful of domains that aren't being used and they got no branding or search engines value at all, and I'm sure that many of you are with me in the same boat.

So i was wondering if you guys have any ideas on how the one can make use of this domains somehow ? currently my plan is to let them die and expire waiting to hear from you guys .

Definitely let them expire, don't let them renew.

I have the same issue and am looking for similar advice, however, I'm afraid the obvious is the answer. You can't do anything besides *maybe* selling them to someone.

Yeah sure thing man! expiration is the way to go if we couldn't find a way to use them.

few years ago i used to renew them "hoping" that i'd find a way to fit them in my schedule ... but i learned my lesson hhhhh

What i did with 6 domains a few months ago is i spent a few bucks on getting 6 articles done and putted one on each site, uploaded a premium theme to make them look good and sold them in bulk on flippa for $297 which was x4 my investment back

but the thing is, this method is not guaranteed and you might end up wasting more money and time and getting no buyers ...

You could also consider posting them in this section of Warrior Forum: Complete Web Sites For Sale!

There are always buyers looking for a bargain, domain name for a new project etc

Just a suggestion, but might be a useful way for you to try and get back at least the price you paid for the domains?

    Fix that.

I have the domain existentwoman.com and it's never even had a site connected to it.

    But it could have.

Remember in science class when you learned about potential and kinetic energy?

Kinetic energy is when a site makes you money. Potential energy is when it COULD.

    Possibility is valuable.

    How about adsense for domains?

Another little advance by the big G. You can just point your domain to Google's servers and everything is all taken care of.

    The quick start guide:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...-3&medium=link

    And the details.
Pointing your domains to Google's servers - AdSense Help

'As soon as the records validate, usually within 24 hours, we'll start serving ads to traffic that comes to your site.'

I guess that's about as simple as it could get. I don't buy a domain unless I'm ready to use it, but I'm curious about the way G sets up the pages. If you try it maybe you could post a link?

Perhaps there is another way around this. You can do a JV where you provide the domain and webhosting and someone can provide their skills for content, web design and SEO. I think perhaps within a month or so with monetization, your domains will be ripe for a flip. You can split the profits and am sure the returns that you get will be more than sufficient, considering that not much effort has gone into it.

Or perhaps host some autoblogs?? Just throwing some ideas around.
