I want to know about make money on Odesk. Have you succeeded using Odesk to make you money? How much you make and how important is it to you?

      Do you know how it compares to Elance? I dislike Elance and am going to stop using it. Not really impressed with the jobs being posted. I pay $25 a month for it and I think I have bid on exactly 2 jobs over the last 3 months! I think that's what you call wasting money!

        I stopped using elance as well; just wasn't worth the time. I created list building sites with the time I wasted on Elance, much more profitable :-)

      I do well with Odesk as well. I always post a personalize message and let them know why my skills will help them. I make anywhere from 900-1500 a month writing articles on Odesk. However, I make just as much from posting in the Warriors for Hire section.

      Just be sure to have your profile completed and write a professional message for each job you apply to and over deliver.

    My Odesk experience is great! I am making money while enjoying myself because the work is of my interest. I am also applying in other freelance sites but I am focusing in Odesk. For now, I got above $40 income - a nice Christmas gift.

    If you will use oDesk to profit from their referral program then you must consider marketing other info products as well. It'll pay of way more better than their referral program. Right now I also work in oDesk but its part-time so I only earn around $400 per month but its pretty steady so Im contented with it already.

      Those who have technical skills tend to earn more at oDesk. I mean, programmers and 3D model-makers can command a better rate than article writers. Looking at writing jobs posted there, $1 per 500-word articles? There are better ways to earn more.

    Hi. I am one fan of odesk, i already earn 20$ within 3weeks and i started on first week of december and still working, it is trusted because they pay you. Odesk have different jobs offers to us like photoshop, webdesigning, data administrative, article writing, and many other work. ^_^
