  • Alexa is a good writer here, and a few other people have made some interesting points regarding this.

Bottomline -- usually if you will be covering several different niches, it is better to use different pen names because then people are more likely to believe that you are an authority on the subject. If you cover 10 entirely different niches with the same name, then people will more likely think that you are just a 'marketer', and don't know what you are talking about.

Depending on how smiliar the niches are you might be ok with the same pen name.

For example, I have a pen name that I use for articles dealing with No-Limit Texas Holdem. I have no problem writing and submitting articles on blackjack and sports betting with the same pen name. Anything outside of the gambling niche is off limits to this pen name as that is its speciality niche.

I have another pen name that is my pest control pen name so it covers ways to prevent ticks, bed bugs, termites, fleas, rodents, roaches, ants, spiders and a whole group of other pests. That's all this pen name is used for when I write with it.

Right now I think I have about 14 different pen names which cover about 45 different niches.

    Respectfully,
    Tim
