I've never used Clickbank before, so I'm unfamiliar with how they operate.

If list a product on Clickbank and don't mention a refund or money-back guarantee policy on my sales page, will Clickbank still process a refund if someone requests one? Do I have the right to refuse to issue a refund?

    Hey Goddess,

ClickBank has a hard and fast rule that all products that are offered through there gateway/services have a 2 months (56 days) refund policy.

They even ask ClickBank users to report sales pages that don't comply with/or say differently than ClickBank on this.

    • So Clickbank imposes a minimum length of time that a refund policy is valid. Is that also the maximum, or do I have the option of extending it?

It's easy for purchasers to refund at ClickBank and ClickBank will surely process it. Merchants using ClickBank are at the "mercy" of refunder even if you state specifically that there will be no refund ... which contrast to ClickBank's terms.

    Yes,

Clickbank will issue a refund for a specific time period of at least 30 days.

I highly suggest you give a refund...your products not going to be for everyone.

      * The refund period is 60 days

      * You cannot give a conflicting guarantee

      * You don't have to mention the guarantee (but it still applies)

I think you also need to factor in the advantage of showing that you have enough faith in your product that you offer a no question 60-day money back guarantee. Any refunds you get will be off-set by the increase in orders by doing so.

    No.

Also, clickbank rules require you to post a 60 day guarantee.

It's "officially" 60 days, but they'll refund up to 90 days due to the chances of chargebacks.
