RSS subscription for keywords on Forums search - possible?

Hello all,

What I am trying to do is subscribe to an RSS feed that will show me when a certain keyword is posted in on that forum. So for example if you go to "homerecording Forums" (I can't post links) and subscribe to a feed for a specific category of that forum is it possible to then also only receive rss feed updates for when a certain keyword is posted in that forum? If its not possible someone should definitely make a program and I will buy it, I think many would want a tool like this.

Or is it possible to subscribe to an RSS feed for an entire website URL and only receive updates in my viewer when a certain keyword is mentioned on that site?
Thanks!

Ok, so I finally figured out this answer but I'm not sure its working. What I did was use google alerts and entered quarries in the following format.

    Keyword site:example URL here

I have it updating as it happenes and I did it for every forum I was interested in. I then went to the forum and made a test post with the keyword I was attempting to get the feed for but I have not seen an update yet. Has anyone else used a method similar to this? Does it just take a little bit for the RSS feed to update?
    Thanks again!

Good note thank you for that! I wonder if there is a better way to do this!?
Just think how great this would be for a small business, they could sign up to all the forums in their niche, subscribe to the keywords for commonly asked questions about their niche, and answer. They can see all of their feeds streaming in one place like Igoogle, instead of going to every indivdual forum and searching for the keyword. I feel like there is TONS of power in this, especially if your responding with useful answers and have your website backlink in your signature....
