Web Security Experts - Is this safe?
Example: I use my cpanel to password-protect a folder on my domain,
www.mydomain.com/protected
This would mean people who try to go to www.mydomain.com/protected/somefile.zip would be asked to enter a username and a password.
My question is simply; is this easy to hack?
Would it be harder to get to a file inside this folder, than for example a file protected by amember or other scripts?
