WSO question - I think my thread was deleted

I just today started my first thread asking about if it was alright to use a bunch of articles I had written but that are no longer in use as a PLR package to sell as a WSO. I got several very nice responses about adding more value and ownership of the material, so thank you to those who responded. Unfortunately I don't have your usernames memorized so I cannot individually thank you.

I think perhaps the moderators thought I was trying to "test" things out or promote myself or something, and for that I am sorry. I did read the rules before posting and I guess my intentions did not show clearly enough, or perhaps I misunderstood the rules.

I basically wanted to know if it's alright to package and sell some articles I wrote and used, but that are no longer on websites or in use - I don't use or know much about PLR so I wanted to clear this up.

Not a great start to trying to participate here, I guess! Sorry guys!

I think I actually responded to your post, and ya it's gone (i checked your account). Strange, I didn't see your post as an advertisement at all.

You did respond, thank you. I remember you saying you were tired.. I see you're still up! :p

I suppose my post was somewhat grey area, in retrospect. I honestly didn't mean it as promotion, but I'm not whining. I posted this new thread to thank those who responded to me and say sorry to the mods - because you're right, Ken, I did get my answer. I've read all the rules and just wanted to verify.

I guess with all the spammers on here since I don't have many posts and my profile isn't very complete yet they have to go with being extra cautious.

Thanks for your support, though! I'll take everyone's advice and hopefully come up with something that will be of value to somebody.

Thought you had your answer already -- basically, to qualify for a WSO you can't sell PLR that's already been for sale anywhere else, and it has to be PLR that you either wrote yourself, or that you paid to be created exclusively for your use.

If it doesn't meet those requirements, you can sell it in the Classifieds section, where the rules are much less strict (but the traffic is a fraction of what the WSO Forum gets).
