Default MEMORY TEST - For Industry Veterans

Hi all,

I have a question for some of the "veterans" around here today. I'm conducting research into psychological triggers and other persuasion techniques used by copywriters in the Internet Marketing niche, and I'm looking to compile a list of some of the best examples of sales letters in the "history" of IM.

This relates to a new project I am working on with a small team, so of particular interest are high converting salespages for affiliate marketing, Adwords and PPC products, along with pitches for great software tools.

I've only been around for about a year and a half, so anything from earlier than that would be great.

I know of the REALLY obvious stuff like Google Cash, etc. So anything that maybe is slightly more obscure is interesting to me.

The key is good copy, and that it got high conversions when it was released. It doesn’t matter if it is still for sale or not.

Really appreciate it.

Sunny

Hi Sunny

If it wasn't for the persuasive nature of Derek Gehl's Marketing Challenge way back in 2000/2001 then I'd probably be doing something very different.

Internet Marketing Challenge

Cheers,

Neil

Thanks for the response.

That is a good one, and one that I would not have seen on my own. Nice job :-)

IT is really interesting to look at the evolution of the sales process in Internet marketing like this.

Any other ideas from anyone?

Thanks!

don't forget, a good sales letter is only a PART of the game.

its marketing as a whole which creates success.

A very good example for me still "Affiliate Elite" where i think that Brad did excellent marketing with how the hype was created BEFORE the product was even released.

The whole IM world was raving about Affiliate Elite, and it was not even out yet. Then add the fact that he already had proven good products before (KW Elite) -----> PROFIT.

The actual sales letter then doesn't really matter, at least not on a relevant scale.

The first online sales letter to really make an impression on me was the late Corey Rudl's.
