This Is Why Most Of Us Make No Money.

We forget the basics.
Most courses and ebooks don't teach marketing.

What is money?

Why it was invented?

In the past, before money existed, men used barter to exchange the fruits of their efforts with others.

People exchanged items needed by each other.

People exchanged valuable objects, objects that they needed.

The problem was that barter is inefficient, because a person might need an article from another person but the person offering the item may need an item offered by a third person.

Money was born ....

It was the most efficient way to exchange VALUABLE objects among several people.

A person receives money in exchange for something that someone finds of value for him. Then the person receiving the money can use that money and exchange that money for something he needs.

Offer and demand.

So why we try to make money without offering anything of value in return?

Why do we create autoblogs or spam the web with unreadable spinned articles?
Why do we look for the latest trick or loophole?

Provide value to others and they will give you "value" in return (MONEY).

    Hi kenomen,

Nice summary! I agree, if you provide no value, customers will not purchase your products and/or services. I see this in the local SEO (offline) world often. A customer will sign-up with an SEO firm, and then after receiving little to no value in 30-60 days, quit the service.

Delivering value to your customer - both online/offline is critical to success.

I disagree, autoblogs are useful, as the content is created in the first place, to help a person? Theere is no difference.

I don't think autoblogs provide value. You're just republishing content already available somewhere else.

Do you feel that, collectively, they add value to the web, Owen?

Nope I do not, but it does not mean they make you less money, which is his claim in the post.

I'm listening to a Bob Proctor CD now.

He mentions a few of the best know books on how to make money. Most mention money once in the entire book, if at all.

There's a season for sowing and reaping. Concentrate on the sowing: adding value. The reaping - gaining money - occurs in a different season. This is why the time-tested wealth generation books rarely mention the word "money."

Bob's really wise, and he discusses something really important that many people would not even think to look for or contemplate.

For newbies especially, I see an overwhelming and selfish focus on just the money, to the exclusion of everything else, but this is the completely wrong approach in going about it. If you don't focus on building value first, how on earth are you going to build sustainable wealth? Almost every good book about abundance that I've read has stressed the importance of giving first. Unfortunately, all the newbies want to do is take, and take some more!

kenomen, there are people who only want money, this is what makes them happy, that is why there are bogus penis pills, autoblogs, bogus weight loss pills, porn.

Then there are people who take the extra effort to both make money while adding REAL VALUE. This extra effort will pay off for you, keep it up!

You are right. I agree that trying to make money just
for the sake of making money, without thinking of really
adding value, will only lead to bad karma, even if you
do make the money in the beginning!
