The Myth Of The `Saturated`Market

Hello to all, hope you will have success in 2011. I don`t know why but I feel like 2011 is gonna be a rockin`.

Well, when going for a niche or for some keywords, I often read about the `Saturated Market` term. Like for example, I get suggestions of not going for a competitive niche because you will have it hard. But what`s the definition of saturated? Is the Im niche saturates? Yes, it probably is. However, if you want to make money online, isn`t all about beating the competition? Why wouldn`t I not target the big niche? You know where all the money is and where are all the hungry customers are?

Wish you success in 2011.

I don't think a niche as a whole can ever be too saturated....It's just the individual keywords your targeting. Are they saturated? You should find the keyword that gives you the competitive advantage!

Just my two cents. But what do I know...I'm still trying to find success like many people on this board!

There is no such thing as over saturated in internet marketing... If you ask me there is plenty of money being left on the table in almost every niche... its just a matter of dedication... But.. The big niches are more competitive.. but that doesn't have to mean over saturated... It just means that in that niche you need to work harder to attain greatness.. Anyone who says the market is over saturated spent too much time reading in forums and not enough time executing online...

Actually, what many gurus do, rather than beating the competition, they join it and create a syndicate, a cartel or whatever you want to name it. This is the way to make money in saturated markets such as IM, as you do not really have any major competition left, you cross-promote each other products, set your launch as not to interfere with another product launch, utilize not only your list, but also lists of others etc.

Of course, this applies if you have your own product, if you are an affiliate, then you do need to beat your competition.

Well, there will always be saturation and competition no matter where you look. It is nearly impossible to find an "empty" niche now-a-days. But sometimes its good to be a small fish in a big sea as well. The fish still gets it's share of the food.

If you don't believe in saturated markets then try ranking for the term "weight loss". Good luck!
But that's not the whole market, is it? It's just a keyword.

Tons of money to be made in so called "saturated" (the term is a misnomer in itself as it should really mean no more money can be made in this market as it's already "saturated") markets if you go about it the right way.

I think it's not a question of being saturated or not, but rather a question of diminishing returns. In other words is the ROI of time and resources to break into a niche/market going to be high enough to justify your efforts. Of course the ability to answer this question correctly (eventually) is what makes an entrepreneur a good one, but we've all had our failures...

There will never be a saturated market. It is just about finding the best strategies to find people. The IM niche will never be saturated if not why are you subscribed to many self claimed IM experts lists?

If you are creative enough in crafting your message and offering value there is no such thing as a saturated market.

Some people see opportunities and others use excuses to make up for their failures, or lack of ambition. Creative types rise above the field of competition.

The question for you is Can you beat your competition?

I think the topic is the same as in every bussiness there is, on\ff line doesn't matter.
I am only starting out but my personal view of things is rather simple and I'm sure everyone would recognize this way of thought.

Higher risk----> Higher reward (of course hard work and longer period of time might be things that get in your way).

Since I'm only starting out, I am only intending to start off in the less crowded, smaller niches, but that's just me.

If and when I start succeeding, I would definitly go to a different fishing holw where the bigger grizzlies hang out.
