How to generate xml sitemap of a static site for Google?

Does anyone know a tool/software to generate xml sitemap for a non-WordPress site (URL) that has static html pages?

I googled and found Sitemaps Generator Tool 1.0 Free Download but the download link is not working.

I'm using 'gSiteCrawler', it works well. You can Google that, plus it uploads all the pages for you. Also builds files for Yahoo!

Check with our fellow warrior, sparrow, he has a script that will make your
sitemap along with adding an RSS feed on your static site.

Very worthwhile!

  will allow you to use a web-based system that is already established and is easy to use. It has been set up on a freely available website.
