$2000 to invest each month - what would you do?

Hi guys,

I've got $2000 to invest each month.

I don't really know anything about affiliate marketing, and all my money so far had come from adsense sites.

I have made 15 mini sites (7pages each) - that bring in $200 a month. I could in theory repeat that 10x / 100x / 1000x but google would surly eventually close my account. (what's the max sites anyone had had on one account?)

Also - my problem is I've had to backlink/make these sites myself - as $1000s of outsourcing has produced bad results.

I could spend the $2k and make more mini sites - and adding to them aswell padding them all out, and that is what I'll do if people think that's best - but I'd love to hear how others would invest this money online.

Cheers all!

  • Hi guest,

I would make one niche site a day.
Figuring $8 to $15 for a domain name, that accounts for $450 at most.

I would leave another $100/$150 a month for training and personal growth.

Since I only require $900 a month for rent, internet and utilities, that would leave $500+ for extras.

I write everyday for my own sites and blogs and others to supplement my income, so I would be able to stop writing for others!

Not a sexy plan, but a great one for me.

If you want my advice, 2 or 3 page wordpress mini-sites with adsense and affiliate links as quickly as you can build them with exact match domain names is the way to go.

One a day means 365 sites at year's end, and if you pull $5.60 per site per month, you will get your $2000 a month back at the end of year one.

    I like the idea

But is it really possible to have 365 sites on one adsense account - or even 50 sites? Will you not just get flagged as spamming, and lose it all?

p.s - I'm going to outsource it all -- the full $2k will be used to hire writers, and backlink makers.

It really depends on your personal skill set along with your goals. Personally I would hire a programmer (non USA) to work for me full time developing software. I would follow an Agile/SCRUM based project management setup for us to work with. I would handle marketing and research while the coder creates and improves the product.

I would also offer profit sharing with the programmer as well, to keep them motivated longterm.

I've no idea what software to make. Lol. So I'm thinking websites with adsense/affiliate links are the way to go.

I've just read this amazing thread - and I'm 90% sure it's what I'm going to try:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...+adsense+sites

    300 sites earning $10 a day each = 1 million a year!!

Sounds so simple - Its a long way off my 15 earning $200pm all together, but I think it's possible.

I will be happy with just $3,000 per month and I think that is an achievable goal.

Good luck on your investing $2,000 per month decision.

Holy smack, babe! You're doing well.

You're doing something right traffic-wise and content-wise because people are a'clicking dem ads.

Sounds like you're a little labor-weary of putting together these adsense sites and would like a money-making method that can give you more income without so much work.

Have you considered building a list?

You could create a list on how to make money with Adsense. You might even consider creating your own product about the real way to make money with adsense and sell that to your list for a reasonable price.

I recommend you look around in the WSOs and find a good course on email marketing and list-building.

With a list, your money-making capacity increases like crazy.

I would set up a squeeze page and purchase solo ads from very responsive lists. Then do email marketing to them.

You could have a Google proof business that way.

What a lot of people do is choose a lot of sites and go shallow.

I'd choose one of these sites and go deep.

Pick the one that is doing the best and build out the site, create upsells ( aka new products and services that complement the product ) add content, focus on the conversion.

Try ONE traffic source that you are comfortable with and split test things to get that traffic working and profitable, then scale up.

take a look at sites that have been around for a while that are pretty high on alexa.com aka 20,000 or any number lower than that and follow their sales funnels, "actually buy their product" and take screen shots and study how they structure their back end sales process. It helps if the niche is the same as your site.

Then apply this to your back end and split test to optimize.

Easy said, tons of work, but it WILL pay off.

Why don't you just reinvest it in whatever gave you the $2k per month?

Very wise to see the income as a way to build up your business further. Here's what I would do...

Adsense is working for you - that's great. Move into creating authority adsense sites and use the money to outsource the writing for new sites each month. You can still do more smaller sites, too, but I think larger is better going forward.

Test a few writers with small projects to find one or two who know what you want and you enjoy working with. Then build sites and commission content every week to build the sites bigger.

You might also find someone who will write plus submit EZA and should consider using UAW, too. You can afford it at $67 a month or can outsource that, too.

Use some for product creation, too, if that interests you later. Hire free reports written to help build lists in your niches - where you can promote your own or other products in time. Build, build, build....

Also - my problem is I've had to backlink/make these sites myself - as $1000s of outsourcing has produced bad results.
I think backlinking is the hardest good outsourcing to find. When looking for outsourcers, you don't have to pay basement prices - look for qualify and recommendations (not just testimonials on a site). Other members here might have some suggestions for outsourcing various items. I know writing so I stick to advising on that part.

15 sites making $200 a month is something to be proud of. That is something a newbie would like to know how to do. Create your own product, showing steps a newbie could follow, if you are sure that it would not cut into your own profits. Sell your guidebook and have instant download upon payment.

Then return to your method and create more sites for yourself.

I would also find a third income stream to test. When the third one is making you money, write another newbie guidebook for income method #3.

    Rinse and repeat.

The best answer to thi is do some more RESEARCH and learn to the experts. There are a lot of people out there who are are not computer or internet geeks but they are really successful with this kind of business without even investing.

I'd think about expanding those sites with more good articles and/seo. If you can write the articles, just spend a bit on SEO and consider maybe making some more sites.
