I Bought Some of the Best WSO's Over Xmas...
You can't rely on testimonials as a rule, some guys I think make it their business model to whore out reviews until they finally find something that works. Why else would they give a favorable review to almost every one?
As I said, I love the WSO forum, because at least you're getting feedback and you can read between the lines. Those guru offers always have a boringly long page of positive testimonials and no "dirty secrets".
I also learned a long time ago, even if it promises the moon and an occasional solar eclipse...if it isn't something you're already interested in you're probably going to be disappointed.
My rules of thumb...buy cheap stuff and be careful of the incrementing prices. I know it's a popular technique but I'll be dammed if I'm going to pay $27 for something somebody else got for $9 or $7 or $5 and hasn't come back and bragged on your stuff! ??
Oh Yeah...my point ... I took some of my fiverr clone "play money" and bought a few WSO's xmas eve. Everybody was in the holiday spirit and marking stuff cheap so I jumped on a few in my realm of interest.
[I forgot to mention, get all the FREE ones and sign up with a 'throwaway account" and get their valuable nugget and then watch their email sales program...excellent education]
My results (and the point of my thread started seemingly hours ago).
I got one good freeby, valuable and well worth it.
A second freeby, not so much...what I call "clutter" (and I'm getting hammered with affiliate emails with little or no content)
I bought three more, low cost stuff marked down for Xmas, and the one that was $37 initially marked to $5...was worth $5
The second $5 was ok for what it was, but didn't cover everything he promised in the advertisement...looked like a bunch of re-hashed PLR...maybe worth The $5 cause I can repurpose the content for a site of mine...
And then...I hit one that melted all my fleeting ideas into a marketing plan, using bits and pieces of all those crappy ones...imagine that!
