auto posting ezine articles

Hello group,

I am brand new here, just signed up and I have a question about auto blogging articles or RSS feeds.

My husband has started a blog and he is writing most of the content himself. But, we would like to include some of the ezine articles that are relevant.

I signed up for Blog Overdrive that automatically publishes from an RSS feed and it is not doing what I need it to.

It is posting the feed exactly how it is and is not retrieving the actual article. I am looking for a program that will auto post the articles with the title of the article as the title and the entire article as the article.

Do any of the auto blogging softwares do this? I've been reading good things about WP Robot, but will it fetch the entire article for me?

Thank you very much,
Kim

    Hi Kim.
Yes, WP Robot will fetch the whole article.
By the way, there's a Warrior Special Offer on WP Robot here: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...t-sources.html

Search for a plug in on Wordpress called guest blogger. It is free. It will fetch the entire article.

There are several plugins and automation tools available that will do this.

Regardless of which one you decide to go with just be sure to review the articles after posting (before if you can) on a regular basis to be sure they are what you want on your sites. Some plugins have a tendency to post unrelated articles/content simply because they are designed to return results on keyword/phrase searches...which doesn't always mean you want that content on your site.

I was recently asked by a fellow warrior to review one of his auto blogs about workout supplements. He wanted me to make some suggestions about how to improve it. He was using WP Robot 3 and for the most part the site and its content was decent but there were a few things wrong that really needed fixed, below are just 2 that I found on the first page of his site.

    1. One of the articles that was auto posted was about how a certain type of product was supposed to be bad for you to use. He had built the site around this product and was an affiliate for it. Was there any real evidence in the article that the product was bad....no, it was just the authors’ opinion and the article actually mentioned another product to use instead. My guess is that was the authors’ way to plug the other product (by tearing down a competitor). WP Robot had posted that article because it had the keywords in it that it was told to go find content for.

    2. It posted a YouTube video that had the keyword in the title but when you watch the video it wasn’t exactly related...not even close really. I won’t go into explaining it but it wasn't something you’d want on that particular site and was only posted because it had the keyword in the title.

Just be sure to check the quality and relevancy of the content. You don’t want to have your blogs looking spammy or having content on them that isn’t related or well written.

    Good luck with your IM!
    Robert
