Are people getting in trouble for this?

I hear people promoting dating offers all the time through email using aweber, constant contact etc...but it clearly states on their ToS that it's against promoting dating offers.

Is this just something they put up to protect email users, but never enforce?

    I seriously doubt it.

If it's against their TOS then it's best to follow the rules. You don't want to see if they enforce this rules after building a nice size list.

I really don't want to sink $500 on building a list in this market only to have it shot down.

When in doubt, just ask Aweber (or the specific autoresponder company that you use).

Nobody here can really give the answer to your quesion with the same authority that the A/R company can. Well, maybe, I guess if someone was really Tom Kulzer in disguise. But otherwise, you are way better off just asking the mailing company.
