| Hey there guy's, Well, as many of you know here I've been working like a mad man putting together the last pieces of the puzzle of my first “official” product which is FINALY days away of being pre-launched right here in the WSO section of this forum. I actually started off this project 2 years ago … yes 2 years ago (when I was only 16 years old, believe it or not). It has been quite the journey going from part time job to part time job to starting my own eCommerce business, becoming a Freelancer “Internet Advertiser” …(if you want to call it that), to finally becoming an Internet Marketer. When I really think about and go back in time I realize how much time I really wasted on such foolish things. Sure I was researching, getting new ideas, learning the trade, making some money online here in there but I never focused on the key elements of building a successful business. So, this is what I want to give back… It took me about 2 years to get to where I am today. (That’s about 700+ days later) … too much time especially in this day in age. So I’ve made a short list of my 7 secrets to success you must remember to truly succeed online or ANYWHERE ELSE. (I’m honestly writing this after going through this LONG journey that I wish everyone would take part off but accomplish in a much shorter time). So feel free to check out my seven secrets to achieving success, and feel free to print it out or write it down on paper and keep it next to you as a friendly reminder of what you should be doing to succeed, it will truly help you! Ok here I go: 1. Learn to leverage your time, effort and resources. Don’t think of life as simply trading your time for money. To become truly wealthy you need to put money to work for you. Think of every dollar like a virtual army…always marching forward, advancing your interests. Another thing is to learn how to leverage the efforts of others. Most people try to do it all themselves. You’ll never get rich operating like this. Besides, it’s exhausting and not nearly as much fun as working with others to achieve massive results. 2. Ethically steal and use proven blueprints to speed up your success. Don’t waste time and effort trying to re-invent the wheel. If something is working for someone else, see what they’re doing and borrow their system. Why start from scratch? It’s a lot like cooking. Don’t guess what ingredients to put in and how much. Just follow the recipe and you’ll get results. Discover the proven systems that are working for other people and simply duplicate them to fit your particular situation. Sure, you can grind it out and spend years trying to figure it out all by yourself. But what’s the point? Swallow your pride and learn from what others are doing to be successful. 3. Create “plug and play” automated marketing systems. Chasing people, begging them to consider what you have to offer is NO fun! That’s why you need to create a system that naturally attracts the right kind of people into your business. Here’s what you need to do: simply create your best sales pitch and duplicate it, and then present it over and over again. Having a marketing system like this gives new meaning to the phrase: “set it and forget it.” Not only will you bring a steady stream of people into your business…you’ll be bringing the right kind of people into your business. 4. Find a personal mentor. Why do you suppose the world’s top athletes rely on coaches? They’re already so good, why would they need a coach? Because having a mentor enables us to see things about ourselves, we couldn’t otherwise. A good mentor will encourage you and hold you accountable to your goals. Working side-by-side with a mentor will get you to the top of your game…faster and easier than you ever could alone. Besides, we’re hard-wired to learn by example. Looking over someone’s shoulder and having them take us by the hand is the best way to learn any skill. 5. Focus on developing core skills. Avoid hype and quick fixes. Ultimately the tricks of the trade will only take you so far. The reality is, to become good at what you do, there’s no substitute for learning the trade. Just like in sports, taking your game to the highest level begins by mastering the fundamentals. The same is true when it comes to making money. Don’t think in terms of getting rich quick. Instead, think in terms of learning the fundamentals of how to create wealth. There is a learning curve, so the sooner you buckle down and master the core principles (the stuff we’re talking about right now) the sooner you will see results. The mistake most people make is jumping from one promising opportunity to the next without learning and mastering the basics. Don’t make that mistake. 6. Use the Mastermind principle. Napoleon Hill talked about this concept in his book Think and GrowRich. This is what many top leaders and millionaires credit as theirsecret to success. In fact, they claim using this principle allows themto leapfrog the competition and quickly accomplish their goals. It’s hard to argue with results. There is a power in numbers, especially when it’s a group of people who are like-minded. Have you ever noticed how when you hang around people who are always depressed and complaining it brings you down as well? That’s why is so important to pick your friends and associates very carefully. You need to surround yourself with people who are positive, upbeat, and who have the same goals and aspirations as you do. Seek out the counsel and support of like-minded people. Meet with them regularly and you’ll be amazed at what will begin to take place in your life. 7. Build residual and passive income. When you understand this concept, building real wealth will be so much easier. The majority of people out there are concerned with getting ONE sale. They’re always trying to find a new customer to sell to. Now don’t get me wrong, having new customers is the lifeblood of any business. But, if you only focus on trying to attract new customers, you’ll be like a hamster running on a wheel. You’ll exert a lot of energy but never get very far. See, what you need to do is think way beyond the one product you’re selling. You need to think of having a long-term relationship with each and every customer. That’s why it’s so important to create, develop and offer a host of related products…AND…set up multiple sales funnels that automatically move people along new selling cycles. Keep your customers happy and coming back. Find new ways to upgrade and create backend revenue. Create continuity programs and give them what they want, over and over again. Never underestimate the lifetime value of a customer! Well, there you have it. My seven secrets to achieving success. I hope you found this helpful. Let me know if you need anything at all! Best Regards, -Alex Kaplo |

Great post Alex. I agree mostly with 1, 2 and 4. With emphasis on point 1. That is probably the single most important element in this or any business. Best of luck, Dan |

haha... Daniel is "in the know" of what I've been cooking up all this years. Yeah, I definitely agree with you man, leverage your time, effort and resources is crucial for any business survival & success. If we only rely on ourselves to run entire operations we can only achieve so much but by leverage the efforts of others you will get things done twice as faster and sometimes even better depending on the people you choose to work with and surround in your inner circle. -Alex Kaplo |

Hi, How are you doing? Well, good point Alex but I think that we should have patience. Why? Well, success is an incoming process. I mean sometimes we can face unexpected events. When we are confronted with this situation, we tend to blame ourself, to reproach ourselves about what could be done etc. A mentor is good but it's not enough if you don't trust you and if you think that the mentors cannot do a mistake. That's not true. You learn from your mentors but the mentor is an human being who is continuing learning. So, learn from your mistakes, be patient, trust you and achieve your goals. Never say that it's impossible. Most of the time what you thik impossible, is possible. You just have to take plunge. Have a good day. |

Well thats the way of the success in an incoming process. For more of the time we can always come with and out unexpected events. Just make a little goals and when you achive them move to other one. Example: Make your goal at $1 daily first month when you achive ten move to $10 daily and so on and on... Hope you will undertand |

I'm doing great I hope you are too, you have some greats points there, but I would just like to mention that having a mentor doesn't necessarily mean having a "coach" train you. I personally can name a few mentors of mine that I have never met, I discovered these people (my mentors) thought their books, their products, and sometimes even trough a friend. Their kind of like my idols and I look up to these people and try to follow these people's "blueprints" as much as possible or at least learn their process. I believe you will agree that most people that do achieve success in anything will always go back and say if it wasn't for that person I would of never been influenced to do this.. this is my definition of a mentor. Awesome post man you seem like a very motivated guy yourself!, Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Best Regards, -Alex Kaplo

Good post dude... All 7 points will accelerate success... A good way to leverage time, effort, and resources, is to use the 80-20 principle. Also, by studying marketing you're already using some of this principle as marketing is the ultimate leverage in your business!
