Hey, everyone.

Just another padawan looking for a Jedi. I'm not quite starting from scratch, but I haven't made a penny online yet. I've got some ideas; some niches I'm interested in, but I don't yet know what marketing method is best for me. I'm trying to start a business teaching English online, for one thing. I've got some ideas for videos. I'm thinking of starting something like deviantART, but with a more collaborative nature.

I noticed other newbs have also posted messages looking for mentors and gotten several positive responses fairly quickly. That's good, but I'm going to be as selective as I know how to be about who I go with. I need someone successful and trust-worthy. I'm looking for a Jedi, not a Sith. As a matter of fact, I'm more inclined to listen to those of you who recommend OTHER people. if several of you recommend the same person, I don't have to take somebody's word for it that they're good to work with.

Thanks in advance, guys.

What, were you all insulted because I said I wouldn't necessarily trust you right away, or were you turned off by the Star Wars references? Look, I only meant that I'm sure there're some online marketers out there who might be willing to teach me techniques that are unethical and would earn me a bad reputation and I want to make sure I don't learn from one of them. You can't blame me for wanting to be cautious about who I learn from.

    Go to elance.com

There are people there who can guide you for a fee and best of all their previous coaching gigs are rated with feedback.
