What What What Will Bring Crazy Hordes Of Traffic To A Niche Site?

Hello Warriors,

If there was one challenge you had and it happens to be driving traffic (targetted traffic at that) to your niche website (ranging from 5 page mini-sites to a 100 page authority site to a niche thriving forum/community), what would you do? What would you do to bring that traffic fast? What traffic plan would you employ?

Let's assume you're starting off with a new site.

Currently, let's just consider free methods (which take some time, and that's ok) for the discussion here.

Let's make this thread flowing with heavy traffic and lots of interesting, working methods to drive traffic to niche sites.

I would do article and video marketing. Pick up buying keywords from Google keyword tool and write articles on those keywords, submit 5-10 articles to EZA per day.

After my articles get accepted I'll then manually spin them up a little and submit to the other article directories.

After that, take those articles, break them up into short point forms, do a PPT video and upload onto youtube. This way I get the leverage for the articles I've written.

Personally, an article + video marketing combo work just fine with me

I can agree with Wayne, when talking about free methods. Video marketing works good for some products, for some do not. However, if we are realistic, paid methods bring more targeted traffic then free methods, especially when talking about video marketing.

When you say "free methods" (there is no such thing BTW) are you referring to "free" as in $0 initial out-of-pocket expense? Or, are you expecting something that never costs any money, ever?

Because, if you're referring to the former, I would have to say, hands down, JVs take the cake. This would require, of course, something to promote which can be measured and accounted for (so they JV can get their cut). If you have your own product it's even better because you can proceed to look for affiliates as well.

If you're referring to the latter, then I'll go with Articles, Videos, and Social Media for $200 Alex.

Hi, I would go for Classifieds, Video sharing, Forum participation because these free ways can generate traffic in small amount of time.

    I have no idea!

    But I can find ideas.

But first I need to know my market.

Then I need to research where they hang out.

Then I need to see how things work where they hang out.

    Then I know my method.

Targeted traffic does not equal article marketing, video marketing, Facebook pages, PPC, or any particular method. It equals researching where your potential clients spend their time and then be there.

Well, I would first ensure my content is in good shape first, meaning it appeals to my intended reader. If you don't have that set up right, the traffic will mean nothing.

From that point, you pick and choose your methods. Start with the free ones like article marketing, guest posting, forum marketing. Test and tweak as appropriate.

Understand that each method has its has its own rules and readership mini culture. So study it, and learn how to optimize it to your benefit.

There's no one-size fits all traffic method.

You have to choose a niche that has a lot of traffic available. If you don't do that, it doesn't make any difference what you do. you just can't invent targeted traffic to come to your site.

You can certainly do stuff like zango cash and that sort of junk, but if you pick a niche that does not have a traffic flow that is large enough, you are not going to see many visitors.
