How a one-time refunder became a loyal customer

Hi guys,

One of my customers recently asked for the Download Page of my product. I checked my records and found he had already asked for a refund for that product.

I was thinking of not giving him the Download Page. (After all, why did he asked for a refund if he still wants to use it?)

But I remembered one motto: "Do more than what is expected of you." So I decided to give it to him anyway. And even thanked him.

That customer seemed impressed with the way I treated him, and now he's buying my other stuffs (without asking for a refund anymore). I guess a little kindness goes a long way.

What do you think? Did I make the right decision? (Based on actual results, I did)

    Absolutely!

It was your way of over delivering and that is one of the best methods to found a long term relation.

I would say you made a good decision! Good to see being nice doesn't always result in getting screwed over!
