#1 OFFLINE Niche Finding Resource ...

Hi guys,

I have a pretty set way of finding niches online, but every now and then when my brain is not working right, or I need a change of scenery, I get out of the house and explore OFFLINE niche hunting techniques.

I am wondering what some of you guys consider your number one OFFLINE niche finder.

I know Market Samurai, MNF, Traffic Travis, Amazon, Google Trends, and forums are great, but I have found some of my best-paying niches literally in my own home, or at the mall.

After all, that is where the consumers are.

My best-paying niche ever still makes me $100+ a month from 3 articles and a one page website, and it was staring me in the face for a year, but I did not see it because it was not on my computer screen!!!!

My #1 OFFLINE niche finder is the magazine rack at Books-A-Million.
(A close second is talk radio. You will never find a more passionate group of people!)

They have so many unbelievable niche magazines, just grab a half dozen or so that you know nothing about, grab a cup of Joe Muggs coffee, and start browsing.

I then punch the candidates in my laptop and always find some winners.

So, what is your fave OFFLINE niche finder?

I usually just use my surrondings. Say I hear some friends say something, or I hear something on the news. That's a pretty good way to find common problems.

  • You are right Bizman.
And sometimes we get so into our internet world we forget that.
