To Those Who Say EZA Is Slow...

To those people who say EZA takes forever to approve articles, and that your articles sit unapproved for a really long time... I have had 26 articles that were submitted in the last 24 hours all approved. I currently only have 1 pending article, which I am sure will be approved shortly.

Before it gets asked, no I do not have a paid membership, I have the same one most people have, the free one.

What I have found:

When you publish articles on a regular basis, they get approved sooner then when you only post them every couple of days.

I also find the more articles I write the sooner they get approved. Some of the articles that are now sitting approved were written by me just hours ago.

As fast as I can type and submit the articles they are being approved.

Just thought I'd share.

Sylvia

I agree with the above. Platinum status also helps.

Worth bearing in mind. I tend to be a bit sporadic and I have articles sitting with one bar for DAYS now. I thought it might be Christmas backlog, seems not!

    markowe,
There was a period of time they were out of the office. I believe it was from Saturday till Tuesday morning for the christmas holidays.

And with the right titles and content, that can be as fast and good quality traffic as PPC.

I do love Eza sometimes. Sometimes I hate them. Such is life! lol

Sylvia, I wrote an article today based on Bill Platt's thread on Google's
original content penalty and it was approved...same day.

If you write regularly, and write well, it appears, at least to me, that your
      articles get approved quickly.

Naturally, it also depends on how much they have in the queue. I would
think now, with the holiday coming up, a lot of people have stopped writing
until next year, so that might have something to do with it, though there is
no way to know for sure without getting access to EZA's stats.

Still, I can't remember the last time I had to wait days to get an article
      approved, not counting the weekend.

        Indeed. Absolutely ...

I'm many time-zones away from them, but I tend to submit to them in the afternoon, here, and my articles are published when I look the following morning. I can't expect faster than that, really, when I'm asleep for a lot of the intervening hours anyway.

I have no problem with waiting a week or so for more articles to be approved. After you submit an article it says after you have submitted 10 - 25 articles the submission process goes faster. Ezines, goarticles, and amazines seem to get indexed pretty fast by google and I like those three.

I think the fastest I have had an approval is about 15 minutes. Usually it takes at least an hour. And when they are doing one of the HAHD I have had to wait until morning.

That doesn't sound too bad to me.

I was quite surprised myself, given the quantity of articles I had submitted, but pretty much everytime I was done submitting an article one of the ones waiting in cue was already approved.

    Steven,
I think you may be right about the fact that if you write high quality content on a regular basis, it zooms through the approval process.

      Sylvia,
A bit off-topic here but I love how you are using the WF Blog. I haven't started using that feature yet and I wonder if I am missing out. If you post an article on it are you able to see any tangible benefits in the search engines?

      Respectfully,
      Tim

PS - oh, and I also experience fast turnaround times with my submitted articles to EZA...to include my pen names

        Tim,

The reason I LOVE my WF blog is because it is typically indexed within about 5 minutes, and then it tends to hold a higher place in the SERPs than any article directories, and often times my own sites. Plus it gives a pretty powerful backlink as well. I also get a fair amount of traffic from it to my sites. Not to mention it gives just one more entrance to my own sites, for all of 2-3 minutes per post. (I use the publisher tool from EZA with the resource box intact and post it directly to my WF blog.)

I've even more recently started doing mini sales pages for some of my products on my WF blog, and I make pretty consistent sales from them.

        Best wishes,
        Sylvia

Does it make a difference if you're a basic member or a platinum member?

My understanding was that platinum members get their articles approved in 24 to 48 hours tops.

          Basic takes about a week.

I just joined and submitted 6 articles. All were approved with 5 days. If I has submitted 10 articles instead of 6, would the process have gone faster?

I'm hoping to become platinum soon and waiting 24 to 48 hours is no biggie, I think.

Still trying to learn the different aspects of article marketing...

            Phoebe,
I haven't been a basic member for years, so I can't really recall. I find that the more articles I submit at a time, the faster they are approved.

Good luck on your article marketing journey.

            Best wishes,
            Sylvia

Outstanding, that's what I was hoping for as I was looking at adding it to my kit bag of required places to submit content in support of my sites.

i made a mistake recently, i deleted almost all my articles in EZA because they had broken links, now it takes ages for any of my new submissions to be approved.

Great Scott Why did you do that? EZA allows you to modify the article and resubmit it and while you conduct the modification the original article still stays live until the new (modified article) is approved and published.

Hi Sylvia, I have had an account since 2008 but only ramped up my article marketing in the last couple of months. So I am still Basic PLUS (i.e. need to get another 10 approved, had a few hit-and-miss affairs with the first 10) - but still, often my articles go into initial review within a day and then are published after 3 or 4, this is really dragging now, say, 5 days and they haven't even looked at them. Like someone said, seems to be somewhat random at times.

Anyway, I just keep pumping them out, so am not too bothered, just thought I'd mention it, though I did want to get some post-Christmas weight loss stuff out there, it's getting a bit late, better change it to New Year weight-loss

Once you get promoted from the Basic-Plus restriction the approval times will improve. However, always keep in mind that as long as you submit a steady stream of articles you will always have a steady stream of approvals a majority of the time.
