Any Of You In The Parenting Niche?

Hey guys,

Are any of you actively selling in the parenting niche - specifically toddlers? If so what are your views on the responsiveness and willing to purchase - if you present people with a good offer of course.

I am currently working on a new product that will definitely strike a chord with almost everyone whit toddlers - it's to do with safety!

Any feedback would be great, thanks in advance.

    I have a niche site dealing with toddler clothing. (The site has been dancing for a long time right now, but is generally in position 3-4 for the keywords targeted).

    I use Amazon as an affiliate, so I wouldn't say the purchase rate is very high. I think parents want to buy clothes somewhere other than Amazon. However, I usually make a few dollars a day in adsense clicks. I don't know if my answer is helping you much with your question, but I think it depends on the safety product you are choosing.

    You might want to check out babycenter dot com and search forums to see if you can find anything helpful for you.

    Sorry should have made it clearer, it is an info product. It centres around travel safety.

      Hmmm. I'm not sure if that would work on my site. I was selling an ebook of newborn care and safety (which is even more targeted) and they didn't want it. Unfortunately I don't have a buyer's domain especially for info products it seems.

        Quite a while back I ran a parenting blog for a while, focussed around free videos.. it was before I really knew enough about info products.

        Parents obviously buy a lot of stuff like prams, clothes, toys etc and get a lot of tips on blogs (well Mums anyway)

        As for paid info products think it's tough, but think if you attached it to things like mumpreneurship (quite a word!) it has a better chance.

    I'm in the parenting niche. From my experience and research, info products are more likely to be purchased if a relationship has been established with the customer. They just don't seem to sell well on their own. I have several parenting sites at the moment and a fairly decent list.....let me know if I can help at all.
