Google Dance and Hosting Provider

Is there a relationship between your site dancing and the host you use? This might be a weird question but I am so frustrated. Usually when one of my sites dance, ALL of them or MOST of them dance at the same time. They disappear and all my sites lose ranking for multiple keywords. I know dancing is normal but I feel like my sites dance way too much. I have a site that is 5 months old and it danced away for 2 weeks and came back #3 (was #4). Now it is gone again, usually will stay gone for 2-3 weeks at a time. So I feel my site is only around for a short time. It has done this every month.

The thing that frustrates me is they all dance at the same time, which makes me wonder if it has something to do with the hosting provider. I know, sounds silly maybe. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am not building backlinks by the thousand or anything like that. I am providing content, in fact, my sites have less than a 5% bounce rate.

So, is this normal for all the sites bounce at the same time?

    I have heard theories that hosting plays a role . . .
Although I cannot confirm this for you.

But, in theory, if your hosting 'went down' your site could as well and maybe take some time to get ranked again?

I use hostgator and have never had ALL my sites dance at once or even for as long as your mentioning . . .

Are you bulding backlinks at all? Maybe Google is conflicted between your great content but lack of popularity (backlinks) . . .

I hope this helps a little
