What Were Your Biggest Sucesses Of 2010?

Hi Warriors,

I cannot claim to have been massively successful in 2010, because I wasn't, but I thought it might encourage me and other Warriors if you shared some of your successes from 2010?

I'm looking forward to 2011, and to be honest I can't let myself be put off by negatively of others, and my desire to make money on and off line.

Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

Brian

I think learning how to do things SLOWLY... getting focused on one thing at a time. This made me realise that Blogging was my forte. So I focussed on that ONLY for a while and things grew from there

Once you get focussed on one thing, i.e Blogging - you then tend to think of the next stage, i.e monetizing your Blog... So I became an affiliate and learned as much as I could (still learning of course).

So, short answer - learning Focus, being more patient with myself.
      It's paying off now

My PLR site would be by biggest success of 2010 and I agree with Keith it's all about staying focused. I know the only reason I've had the success I have had is because I've finally stayed focused on something long enough.

Writing my first book and getting it published! So exciting!

Then I contributed to a second book, an anthology, which became a #1 bestseller on Amazon the day that it launched (thanks to all of the co-authors promoting it). Yay!

And yes, these are "real" print, "bookstore" books, not e-books. It was a big, BIG deal and I'm super proud of these two accomplishments.

      1) Going from full-time affiliate to product owner.
      2) Seeing a decent amount of affiliates for my first product make a decent monthly income.

I'm actually more excited about point #2. I've only been training affiliates for 6 months...so my guess is that by years-end, I will have helped at least 5-10 affiliate replace their job income.

Having a blast ....this is fun if done the right way!

Well...this success is 'teetering' between 2010 and 2011....

Today (3Jan2011) my guest post was published on JonathanVolk.com!....BUT...I was actually informed by their VP of marketing that my post would be put in the que to be published, on the last day of December 2010...

Because of just how huge JV's blog is, among the ranks of Shoemoney, etc, I consider this a pretty big success. On top of that, today, my guest post had more "facebook likes" than his last 50+ or so posts, within it's first hour...

Now, with almost 45 likes, it's doubled his highest post "likes" in his last few pages of content.

      Pretty exciting.

Anyone read his blog? John Chow had featured him awhile back saying that his company earned in excess of $300,000+/month...

Staying organized and not giving up. I learned to have a plan for next week, next month or next three months. When I go to bed I make notes what I need to do tomorrow and no matter what happens I have to finish it, just like in any other jobs you have to finish your work before you go home.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, and congratulations to the new Daddies (to be also).

Amy your post has been very encouraging. It's something I don't do, but I've had some advice similar to this recently, so it's like a confirmation to start doing this, and everything will fall into place.

To everyone, I hope that 2011 has started off very well for you, with your new enthusiasm to make money, or free yourself from the J.O.B. Whatever your aspirations or reasons for being online, let's hope 2011 will be a memorable one!
