Anyone Know A Good Web Page Translator Tool?

I'm in the process of re-designing one of my sales pages. I noticed I'm getting visitors from all around the world, especially different parts of Europe, so I was wondering if anybody out there knows of any service where the page can be translated at the touch of a button on the page?

I know I might be asking too much here! I have a friend who is fluent in Spanish - I've managed to persuade him to create a Spanish version of the page. But ideally I'd like my German, Dutch, Polish etc visitors to be able to hit a magic button to see the page in their language.

If anybody could please point me in the right direction, or offer alternative suggestions, I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks.

Many of the online tools are just not adequate to attain natively readable prose. If you want fairly accurate translation software, look at something like Systran. Or, have it done by someone who knows the language. In any event, always have it proofread by someone who understands its idioms.

Also, if you are seeking to target relevant keywords, make sure you know what those keywords are in the other language. Translation software typically does a weak job in that area.

Yes that's a good point about getting the translation proofread.

Are any Warriors reading this fluent in Dutch, German or French? Please PM me if you can offer help. Thanks

In the main, most people speak English. If you think you're losing a significant portion of potential income by not having the site available in other languages, then you could get some quotes from translators and do the mathematics.

I'd run up a spreadsheet based on my stats and sales figures and see if the maths stacked up.
