My first New Year Task

Hi warrior!

Happy 2011!

As today starts a New Year, my first IM task was to delete all the unsubscriber leads on my Aweber account, I had more than 1,500 on it, and aweber charge for all the leads, including the unsubscribed.

My goal it's don't procrastinate anymore.

What will be or was your first IM task this year?

To continue to build my blog, although, I know that's a bit "vague". There are certainly a few goals I would like to achieve with it. Brace yourself for this one, but one goal of mine is to be able to implement a revenue sharing arrangement that gives back. I'd like to be able to set up the system so that I am able to give roughly $100-$500 to at least a batch of 10 people each. January 3rd, a guest blog post of mine will be published on a very high authority blog in this industry. Another goal of mine is to keep spreading and reinforcing my blog and 'brand' through strategic guest posting.

This might also seem a bit vague, but my first task for the year is to get organized. 2010 was very tough for my family and myself, and I would like to get my head on straight so this year can really be the turn-around.

I've started using a whiteboard to write down over-arching goals as well as daily to-do lists, and I'm learning to get everything done in a systematic manner. I'm clearing out all the clutter both around home and in my head and I am learning to focus better.

I'm already feeling much better and being more productive, so I'm very excited for this year!

Thanx for that info on Aweber, very interesting. I have written a stack of articles and will be launching a new product every month of this year. I've got the first three months nearly finished, they will lead into each other.

A quick Google search surfaced this, which was a response that the original writer received the same day from aWeber support: "There are two types of leads (subscribers) that counts towards your pricing. 1. Active Leads which are leads subscribed to your list receiving messages. 2. Inactive leads which are leads that are unsubscribed. Although they are not receiving messages from you, their records still remain on your account but you can delete them whenever you want. Unconfirmed leads do not count towards pricing. These are subscribers that were sent the confirmation message but never clicked the link. They are automatically deleted from the system after 30 days since the confirmation link has an active period of 30 days you would not be charged for them."

They are very much so charging for this and most people do not know about this. I read about a famous guru have a list of 100k and 20k of them were unsubbed. He was still paying for them though.

Why didn't he just delete them? I had 3 unsubscribes and just deleted them...too easy...

  My task for the new year is to keep a tight control of the money i earn. I started this about 2 month ago. At the end of every month I work out every dollar earned and every dollar spent then work out whats left. This makes it easy to reduce my outgoing and have more money without earning more. Lets face it you can earn $50,000 per month but it you spend $52,000 your in trouble.
  So I hope to diligently check my finances every month.

  Does anyone ever here find it difficult to stay on top of email? With several accounts that I monitor, I oftentimes neglect one or two, unfortunately....it's real easy for email to get unorganized quickly if you let it get the best of you...

  I love aWeber and the way in which their service/pricing essentially grows with your increase in subscribers. It is $20 for up to 500 subscribers... So, just a point of note, make sure that you aren't just sucking in subscribers, without at least some sort of plan to monetize them to the point where you can at least offset that $20. You would 'think' one would be able to easily monetize a list of 500 subscribers, however some never really do a great job at establishing and maintaining relationships to begin with....

My first New Year task is to finish off some writing for a client. I'll then start to write the book I've been thinking of for the past few months, and get it published on Amazon and as an ebook. I'm looking forward to working on it.

My task this new year is to continue my job as a administrative / data entry provider.
I need to work hard to earn more. People must change their greedy attitude. They must be contented on what they have. Dont rush, i mean, dont expect too much because, youll be hurt if not get what you want. Happy new year!
