Uploading Youtube Video to site

i am using "guitarreviewtheme" and i am looking for advice on how to upload a youtube video i found and place it on my site. has anyone delt with this theme and uploaded a video? thanks in advance

    If you go to the Youtube video that you want, there is going to be a button that says embed underneath it.

    Click on that.

    Copy and paste the code wherever you want it to be.

      what mike said...just a quick tip make sure the related videos box is not checked.

      this will help your readers stay on your site longer and not have the urge to click on a related video that comes up at the end if that box was checked

      Agree! or i think, most of sites that when you post links, it automatically shows the video, or download it on youtube downloader and re-upload it on your site or simple, use the embed and paste it wherever you want on your site. Have a nice embedding

    Make sure you use the HTML editor instead of the standard editor to add the embed code. You can then switch back to the standard editor to make adjustments to your post.

    There is no need to "upload" anything if it is already an existing video up on Youtube, just copy the embed code and paste it into the html code inside your editor (make sure you're doing it in html and not the visual editor), and the video should be on your site. You can set it to autoplay and even resize the video according to your needs.
