White label dating site question

I have been looking at joining the Easydate White label dating program.

The thing that I cannot understand is that they say that from day 1 your site will have millions of members that members to your site will have access to. How can this be? Surely the people in their database will have signed up to other sites in their program and will not have agreed to be contacted by my site or its members?

Any clues?

They run a central database that serves members logging in from hundreds of domains.

I have gone that route with two distinct networks, but not the one you mentioned.

If you follow the forums on the ones where I had signed up, it seems some people are making money.

But I did far better monetarily when I ran my site as a copy of Plenty Of Fish.

But what I don't understand is if I join Cupid.com for example then surely only other cupid members can contact me? If they share the database for all the sites how is this possible?

Cupid is probably running its own database, without a network connection.

However, if you go to Xmatch and AdultFriendFinder, they share database connections. As a result, it is possible to get a Xmatch account and contact someone else on the AFF website.

There is no way to give you access to millions of profiles without allowing people to communicate across networks.

Cupid is part of the white label network I am joining. Sorry if i am not being clear my query is... If I am a member of cupid but I am appearing in the searches of all the other sites in the white label network how does another member message me.

It would be confusing if a member joined cupid.com and received a message from a partner site? Am I making sense?

Or in your example if I join Xmatch and I appear in both Xmatch and Adult FF searches, how would a AFF member send a message to me when I am registered only with Xmatch?

If you are a member of Xmatch and someone from AFF sends you a message, your receipt of that message appears as if it is coming from Xmatch, and the person sending thinks they are sending to another AFF member.

        Does this make sense?

Yes thanks. And wow that's sneaky of them. So when the sites market their other sites to you, essentially you are just joining the exact same site again?

But just a minute. If I am a member of one site and I message someone who actually signed up to another of the sites in the White Label Scheme and I mention the name of the site I am messaging from, would it not scupper the plan?

Like If i was a member of Cupid.com and I messaged someone in UKdating.co.uk (both in the Easydate program) and I said "how are you finding Cupid.com? Would they not be really confused?

Most people who join dating sites join to find someone to date. They are probably not worreid about which site the potential date is going through.

You see it that way because of your persepctive, I would guess that the regular people on the site don't worry about it.

I would think about the only time it might be a problem is with some of the more "niche" dating site. the if things got crossed in commuication that would probably not be so cool. But regular dating probably not a big worry.
