Hi,
Help! I have just started with my business. I have a website, autoresponder, a very small list, and my digital products. My question is how do I set it all up on my website, with the sales page, squeeze pages, one time and back end offers, bonus download pages, etc? I would greatly appreciate any advice you have to offer. Thank you.

Ms Maggie

Not the billboard itself, but possibly what it is advertising

I'm no expert, but in general, you probably want to do something like this.

Your squeeze page is where people sign up. After they sign up, you send them to a page reminding them to check their email and make sure they look in their spam or junk mail folder, so they can confirm.

Once they confirm, send them to a one-time offer which is literally ONE-TIME. (If they can get it again, you lose trust.) If they click past it, drop them on your bonus download page so they can get their free stuff. (This is where you deliver value.) On the same page, offer them something they can buy, usually more of the same. So your bonus page sort of is your sales page.

Whenever they buy something, send them to an order form with a backend offer ("upsell"). Once they pay, put a backend offer on the confirmation/receipt for a similar product ("cross-sell"), perhaps through an affiliate program.

So you're offering a product:

- Before they get their free stuff (OTO)
- After they get their free stuff (Upsell)
- Before they purchase something else (Upsell)
- After they purchase something else (Cross-sell)

Ideally, it goes something like this.

"Get this program for a discount price!"
"Here's your free stuff - buy more of it!"
"Buy EVEN MORE of this great stuff!" (nearly the OTO but not quite)
"Buy other great stuff that works with this stuff!"

Keep in mind that I'm studying this a lot, but not doing it yet. Someone with practical experience may be able to improve this plan.

I'm that writer you ask how to find every time your other writers deliver.

Yes, that's the way we deal with people.

It's better if we over deliver. & Let's make it worth
twice than what people get.

But don't over promise such as for membership unless you
think you able to do it or you can make a team to manage the
membership.

Membership sometimes needs tough work.

Very good points from the OP.

I think when desperation or laziness meets a hell of a good sales page then money is wasted and someone begins their journey of going in circles.

Find a proven success formula that you are comfortable with and start building...building is not overnight.

@Sell -point well made. Far too often I have seen newbies come along with the misconception "If I put a site together with a product well pushed by the gurus" drive traffic to it they will make money.

By bypassing Originality, Trust and Value principals they fail and become statics.

Steve you have done an awesome job putting this thread together and am sure any newbie will appreciate it very much.

1) Position yourself as a credible marketer and build trust
2) In return for the trust give something of value to your readers, thus building more trust
3) Time to sell them something - Now build on that with more traffic and success is yours for the taking

Targeted traffic is more general. It depends much on your niche, exact product/service, etc. Simply applying SEO techniques will often produce tremendous amounts of targeted traffic. SEO is my favorite method, but I also get very targeted traffic from things like Twitter and forums.

mmm, I have been trying to get advantage of twitter potentiality, but I am still too slow. The best method I have learnt to get new followers is following as many people as possible, "someone will follow back". Which is not what I would consider as an ingenious strategy. Moreover, I cannot really get a very highly targeted traffic in this way. I just get followers whose only interest is advertising their own site and that will never click on my links. I need to attract real people, not just advertiser, but I am starting to doubt that there are any on twitter. Any advice how to use twitter?
