64% Unsubscribed - Know Your Stats

I admit I'm kinda lazy when it comes to analyzing the fine details of my business stats and reports. However, there are certain things you must pay attention to.

For example, I just went into Aweber and pulled up a really cool report showing the unsubscribe stats for my autoresponder series. I discovered that over 64% of my unsubscribes came from email #4 in the autoresponder series. WOW! That's crazy - 64% -I immediately deleted that message from the series. I guess I was a little too aggressive in that message.

It's little details like that which can have a huge impact on your business.

What are the key stats for your business which you would advise us to pay close attention to?

I had the same thing going on.. what was a shocker to me - it was my BEST content email I had!

  I can understand what James pointed out, because I also have similar experience. But I reshaped the message relatively soon, bigger harm I didn't suffer. Thanks for the thought provoking one.
