Webinar Software Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend any good webinar software solutions?

A client of mine had started using NetViewer but has been disappointed by its performance and so is on the lookout for a better option.

All suggestions welcome.

GoToWebinar works pretty well. You can try it out free for 30 days.

I've only ever used GoToWebinar. It seems simple enough and it was very easy to join and view the presentation. I've never held a seminar though.

Jennifer, it's pretty easy to use and the big selling point is that it has the capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 attendees at one time. I'm not sure if any of the other major webinar companies have this capability - gotowebinar gives you the room to grow as your business expands.

  • I personally use ISL Online's All-In-One Suite since it comes with 4 different products (ISL Groop for collaboration, ISL AlwaysOn For Remote Access, ISL Light for Remote Support and ISL Pronto for live chat on websites) perfect for my business.

Another reason I prefer them is because they have a "pay-as-you-go" billing option that keeps my overheads low.

How reliable are they compared to goto webinar?

They say that it's advertiser supported on the front page, but I couldn't find any details about that in their wiki or sales pages...are the ads displayed during your webinar? Only to you in the back end? Only on signup or login pages? Basically, how intrusive is the advertising?

Gotowebinar tops the #1 for me. I use it all the time, and have a subscription there.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like GoToMeeting is the most popular, however my client refuses to use them as he has had a bad experience with them before.

Looks like he is choosing between GatherPlace and Omnovia - has anyone any experience of either of these services?

Check out gotomeeting.com. Its cheap, has a variety of good features, and is easy to use and it allows you to host an online meeting with up to 15 people so you can do more and travel less. Using our Web conferencing tool you can share any application on your computer in real time. Attendees join meetings in seconds.

Thanks to everyone who left a suggestion.

Just to update you, after the client took trials of several of services including Webex, Fuze, etc he finally came round to the idea of GoToMeeting and has just ordered it after an impressive trial.

Just a shame he wouldnt listen to you guys from the beginning.....would have saved him some time but at least he got the best solution in the end!
