It looks like you went straight for the deal with that site. I think you need to take a few steps back and start with the basics.

1 - Design - It needs to be professional and clean.
2 - Content, content, content - instead of pushing the deal up front you need to build a reputation by providing value
3 - Traffic - if you're writing good content, then the traffic should come too. You seem to be targeting a niche at least. Look up keywords that your demographic will be interested in and find out where they congregate - then just find out what information they want and do your best to provide it.

Well yeah before you make a product like that make sure you know what your doing, so make money then sell a make money product. Many marketers don't do this and just sell make money online products, they probably make a killing to but seriously learn how to make money online - then sell a "make money" product..

Good point Aaron. I think that distinction can be confusing at times. It seems like so many marketers are making money by teaching people how to make money - I'm sure they run other businesses as well. No doubt they understand and help people by offering marketing consulting services, amongst other things.

Yes, lostarts is right on the money - develop your blog and reputation first. Be professional. It can take awhile to build up your reputation, but start with a professional looking blog and add content. I have been blogging for awhile and I guess I am a bit - what do they say - anal retentive about my blogs. LOL Much of this is not get rich quick and takes time to develop (despite what the gur's say).

Start with the basics. Build up some residual income to further build your business. Good luck!

Thanks a lot Julie! I suspect you know what you're talking about too - you're blog is excellent.

It's original quality content like yours that attracts visitors, which does take time to build. People can sniff out a fake a mile away - the reason the Guru's can make so much in such a short amount of time, is because they already have a reputation.

They know what they are talking about and people can sense it. If you can build yourself up to that level by creating consistent quality and providing value - well, then you are set to go!

Wow! Thanks!! I am trying to be honest and real because I see much much crap and I have been blogging for over 2 years now... it is by no means get rich quick - money trickles in. But, I think it is better to be original and take pride in your work than just throwing a site up there an hoping to get rich. If you listen to the honest guru's out there, they will tell you it is hard work ! Thanks again... BTW - I am working on a new blog titled moreincomeblogging.com

Unfortunately, I think you've ticked off a whole host of members here with your misleading title. I feel that it'll be a little difficult to market something that teaches how to accumulate great wealth when you yourself do not have it. In order to effectively market these types of products, you need to have the right branding and positioning, which you unfortunately do not have right now. Claiming to be something that you're not on your website is definitely not a good idea.

Perhaps you could start with marketing something else instead, and then progress to this later on when you have the proper confidence and positioning to sell this?

You want to make $2000/mo from a blog that have only 8 indexed pages, 0 backlinks, a bunch of keywords that nobody is searching for, a misleading "buy-now-for-$2" cheesy offer and a product you know nothing about. I wish if it was that easy we all be rich, but then, who is going to buy our products?
Go read "think and grow rich" again and do what the preacher says not what he does.

I HOPE you did keyword research FIRST. Is it a niche worth going after? How many searches is something like "christian wealth building" getting a month? And what does your competition look like if you wanna use PPC? If you've done the research and believe it can be profitable, then I say go for it. If it fails, then re-work your strategy. This IM thing is all about testing anyway. Buy a PPC course or an SEO course and start getting some traffic, dude. But in my opinion, Facebook would work the best. Just my opinion though. There are some good facebook ads courses in the WSOs. And before i forget, even if you site is ugly it will still convert at least 1%. So dont get discouraged. For every 100 visitors its possible that you make one sale. Good luck.
