Default Forum emotes, graphics, etc. How important to you?

Hi All,

When you interact on a forum how important is it to you to have smileys and other graphic options activated?

George,

I personally never even think about them. I sometimes use the old school ones such as : ) but I don't even think about the built in ones.

However, from dealing with my customer support forum I know there are a lot of people who will complain if they aren't there or are broken.

Love them They are a great way to communicate something to your audience because when you type you often can't express the right tone. Emoticons help with that - plus they are pretty

If you need a source for good smilies, here's my favorite...these icons are nicely done, have a style of their own, and are expressive.
