Hello,

So as to start an online business the very first thing that comes to our mind is to discover a profitable niche. We need to position ourself in a particular niche. But then a question arises that is what are the sources by which we can discover a profitable niche.

To discover a profitable niche all we have to do is "Brainstorming". Now lets expand our mind and put on our marketer's hat and become aware of possibilities online.

Let me tell you about one such source which is pretty much untapped resource. The name of the source is:

The Dummies Store

The guys behind the dummies store have actually created books themselves and they wouldn't have created books in a particular niche if they haven't done the
market research. In this case all the market research has been done by the experts. All we have to do is a bit of "Brainstorming"

On Google we search for dummies. It would be pretty much the first link. As soon as we enter the URL there would be a link on the right side that says store. After clicking the store button on the next page we will be shown different categories on the left side.

Now we can choose the category we would like to research in. As soon as we click on a particular category we would be shown different books in that category. These books are the
Niches within that category .

Ex: If we choose health as our category and then one such book that appears is asthma for dummies, Then
asthma is the niche within the health category.

Thus, When we click on different categories we can see different niches in each category which itself are profitable niches. All the market research has been done by the dummies store and all the books that appear in each categories are profitable niches.

I hope this helped. This is just a source of many sources online by which we can discover profitable niches.

To your success

Interesting, another jay... posted the identical post on another honestwork... forum.

Just that the RE: seems odd.
