How do I trade knowledge for money?

Yes, I understand how to create a product and market it, I am going to be writing a few reports I think will do well and will even put them in WSO's when I can afford to, but how do I actually exchange the money for the product?

I know very little coding, so I can't write a script, and I don't have positive cashflow to hire someone to do it for me. What are my options?

You can use paypal to do this automatically. You can set it so that when someone purchases your product, they are redirected to a download page. This can all be done in the merchant section of paypal.

    hope this helps.

How do I set up a download page?

More specifically, if I upload the book onto a download page on my site, how do I make it so you HAVE to pay to download it?

What is to keep someone from finding the link to the page itself and downloading?

      Download Page
Chris Farrell offers this demo free of charge on YouTube!
      (not an affiliate link)

Beside the video, there are other video demos about creating PayPal and/or Clickbank pay buttons.

All I had to do was to type into Google's search box "How do I set up a download page + video" and, hey presto, the above link appeared! Do the same for each and every query you may have.

You'll be amazed at how much free and excellent information is available from real experts. So there's no excuse for not making progress.

As for secure downloads, there are products that protect your download pages from unauthorized use. DLGuard is one. Whatever you do, though, especially if you don't use software like DLG, don't call your download page: http://www.yourdomain.com/productname/download.html. Give that html file an obscure name made up of letters and numbers so that it makes it more difficult for internet thieves to access that page to download your product.

      I hope this helps.

Warriors, here, are also very generous with their expertise so ask and you shall receive!

      Good luck

E-junkie will solve most of your problems and control access to the download page so the buyer has to pay before getting the product. All you need is a Paypal account.

Google for a coupon code and you can get free e-junkie service for several months.

It's actually pretty easy, and you can start off with a bare-bones download page that basically just contains the links to your download file(s).

If you're accepting payments via Paypal, all you need to do is designate your download page as the URL where your buyers get redirected to, upon successful purchase of your product.

The best way to keep your page somewhat secure on a budget is to name your download page something cryptic, i.e. don't use www.yoursite.com/download.html, which is very easily found, but name it something like www.yoursite.com/j43sdf894y.html instead.

It will need some investments first, lets say you need domain and hosting so you can advertise your ebook. You can sure use a free website.

Next you need payment processor and a shopping cart system.

PayPal is easy but I have heard so many people been slapped by paypal, I cannot use it because it's not available in my country.

So I will use 2Checkout merchant service; this costs some good money, $49 startup and 5.5% every trans.

Again I will need a shopping cart system such as 1shoppingcart or e-junkie. Yes they all takes money.

If you use paypal, you can use it as a shopping cart as well as a payment option + it will redirect to the download page, of course for a charge.
