How I Earn from The Offline Niche - Step By Step

Hey warriors,

I have been wanting to share this, but have been putting it off.
I originally have a strong background in the virtual assistant niche.
I had many clients locally until the economy crashed.
I scrambled to regain my income, only to find it very difficult. So I began reading these boards. I started learning more and more about the offline niche and decided that the money was defiantly in the offline niche. Instead of regaining offline customers, I put a twist on it. I ran into an online marketer that was running a local portal and she started talking about marketing her portal.
I spoke to her about faxing her potential clients and she agreed that would defiantly help her business. She proceeded to tell me that she just did not have the time to create flyers and fax every month. So I offered the service to her.
I am familiar with such services from my VA background.
I charged her $65 for the flyer creation and $45 for the actual faxing. She provided 100 local businesses she wanted to target and I began faxing. The outcome for her business was so overwhelming that she signed up with me for a yr. The fee is $110 per month because she prefers a new flyer every month.
This was a nice little deal for me, but then she also networked on a forum that was for offline niches, and mentioned my services and I began getting orders immediately.

I am now faxing for several clients and have carved out a nice little niche from the offline niche.

This may or may not help someone, but a complete business was born through a simple concept and the moral of the story is provide value and you will start seeing dollar signs! Specially with the offline niche.

    Good post imfreelance:

I tend to agree as I am pushing into the offline niche as well. There are so many opportunities that IM'ers have it's not even funny. I had to download a 200 page 'book' of all the small companies in my area -- the business potential is ENDLESS.

    Thank you,

I prefer the fax business, because it is generating huge results for my clients and it is legal and so simple.
I send out flyers to real estate agents for one client and then send out flyers to local tanning salons for another client. The sky is the limit because there are so many companies in one local area.
My clients have also said that the flyers is the only marketing that really delivers for them.

Sometimes the tried and true direct mail approach is a winner!

So true, and the beautiful part is as long as the fax number is placed somewhere public, you are free to send a fax.

How many people run an offline site? How many people want to start an offline site?
