youtube seo?

Youtube is a search engine so why are people taking (less) notice of it.

Youtube is the 3rd most visited site in the world! If you get your desired keyword top you can get 1,000s of views and make loads of money. (That is why I post this.)

Now I have done my research, I have made over 20 videos and posted them on different accounts, old/new, (1500 friends, 0 friend accounts.) And still find it very hard to get high rankings.

I have changed the tags, length of video, description and tried buying views to kick start my rankings.
Never really got anywhere..... (Had a video that was on page one but youtube deleted it.)

Sooo To the SEO side. I have used a few softwares such as SEnuke and SEOlinkvine which have helped but I do not know how much or if these built backlinks too quickly.

Should I build backlinks straight away because it is not working at the moment?

Can videos get sandboxed?


Just a little P.S. I do not think views or how long it has been uploaded has anything to do with it as, I have seen videos that have been uploaded 40 mins ago be on page one for competitive search terms and stay there!


Soooo Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get higher youtube rankings?
(You don't realise the love you will get if they work.)
