Need someone knowledgeable with Wordpress 3.0.4

I am trying to embed a Picassa slideshow (and/or table) in a new theme that I am working with for a Directory site.

In the old theme, all I had to do was click the 'share' link in Picassa and copy and paste the code for a slideshow into my blog post and there it was.

However, in the new theme it doesn't work, no matter what I try, including resizing the slideshow. All that is showing up is the code text. I've tried posting the link with the visual editor on, and off, and using html only. Nothing seems to work.

Can someone take a look for me? The blog, which I am using for a local business directory is at:

Renfrew County Business Directory

The testing123 ad in the 'Just Listed' section is the one with the problem. I've embedded the links but the slideshow isn't working and the code is extending into places it shouldn't be extending into.

Many thanks!

I'm not familiar with Picasa, but IMHO, it's a foopah on the part of the Picasa author to not provide a shortcode to place in posts.

Here's a link to a plugin that allegedly corrects this oversight. (I have not tried this myself.)
    Postcasa — Andy’s Blog

Thanks Tim. This is a very frustrating problem, and I don't think it has to do with WP 3.0.4 as I embedded both the table and the slideshow in another blog of mine with no problems. The links work perfectly, so it must have something to do with the theme.

I downloaded and installed the Postcasa plugin. It doesn't work on this theme.

    Very frustrating!

Since the theme "Classipress" is a paid theme, have you contacted the theme author for support?

I've experienced theme related issues in the past, have you tried switching back to the default theme for a moment to see if that fixes it?

Sometimes themes with java, jquery will interfere.

Hi Tim: Yes, I have posted a request on the support forum. Usually they are pretty quick to reply, but this questions is unanswered, as yet. The support forum is quite busy today, so I'll have to be patient.

I was hoping that there would be a simple something that I forgot to toggle, or tweak. I think the WP users on this forum are tops, so I thought I'd stop by here as I was looking forward to getting it completely functional as quickly as possible. I appreciate everyone's input.

Auradev: I have posted the same code on my other blog and it works perfectly. I think it probably has something to do with the jquery.

You could open up the header and comment out the line with the jquery. This will break something else on your site but at least you can identify if that it really is the jquery.

I think it is working okay now. The embed code works, but does not show up in the preview when customer is posting an ad. All I did was add some text before I added the embed code. I guess I'll have to play with this a bit more to see what's going on here.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I really appreciate it.
