whats the best theme for static pages?? or a regular website look

I'm really leaning towards creating a static site or blog with pages. Using wordpess is a must of course. (Is there a
Theme that's loads up and has a regular website look?) If not I am wanting to use either genesis or lifestyles. I love the look of these themes. Thesis is a real good choice as well but don't know much coding and tough i could learn i would prefer an easier option. But i am not sure if I should just make a blog or static page site. (What is your take on this? static or blog)

This will be used on niche sites or small websites. Please help and let me know if genesis or lifestyles is a good option for me, or something else.

    I have both genesis and thesis and i really like the look of the genesis child themes. An example of one site is Green Healthy Home, everything still basically blog posts but the front page looks like more like a traditional website. Good luck.

      Exactly! from the things that I have heard i would really prefer to use Thesis. Since it has clean coding and good for the search engines. But ive read that if you want to modify it you have to know some css. Now I can learn and pick up the basics but maybe not major css.

      I have heard before that the thesis control panel allows you to do changes to the site with out coding, just like many other themes. But just how much I do not know. If it was pretty simple to make major changes from the C panel It would definitely be my first choice!
