Go to google and search any term. You can promote, remove and comment on search results. User generated content on search results, the scientists at google are really trying to take over the world.

I notice that only you see the changes though, and only when logged into google.

I tested it and the when you promote a listing it goes to the top of the search results and will be at the top every time you search for that term, but only when your logged into google and only you will see the modified results.

When I searched for the same term while not logged into google I got the normal result.

Wouldn't this have a weird impact on SEO?

      Just asking.

umm... nooooo... do your research before getting all excited and thinking this has anything to do with SEO because it doesnt...

this is just a nifty new tool to be able to organize & comment on your own search results within YOUR OWN GOOGLE ACCOUNT...

it has nothing to do with SEO, and the results are not shown within anyone elses account...

Don't get your panties in a bunch people... do some reasearch at the warrior forum... this topic has been discussed to no end... and it always results in the same outcome... this will NOT have anything to do with SEO!!!!!!!!!!!!

correct nicholas... any changes you make are only visible within your own account... it's just a new feature to be able to customize your own search results better...

kind of like customizing your google homepage, but nobody can see your cusomizations...

hell yea they will... I'm sure they are collecting every move each user is making right now and are taking note...

We might not see this for a few years, but in the back of my mind I would be thinking about this...

Thanks for bringing this up newyorktrader.
