    Try Namecheap.com. They offer free whois and an excellent support.

      NameCheap is probably the cheapest, although you can get some really cool coupons for GoDaddy on .com's as well as others.

      Now and then I like scouring Ebay for realyl cheap domains. You can pick up some corkers but it takes some sifting.

    also check the DN forums for coupons which can save you lots of money too. Each DN register has its own special offer. I use GD, Dynadot, Name and NameCheap.
