Featured links in WordPress removal

Can anyone help me find where the Featured Links are in WordPress, so I can remove them. I have done this before, but I can't remember how I did it and now I can't seem to find them. I need to get them off my site ASAP.

    "featured links" must be a theme-specific thing... so it's difficult to help you without knowing more details.

    Usually, the links in the sidebar are displayed either
    a) by the code in the sidebar.php
    or
    b) with a widget
