Ya, won't be retiring yet, but I earned my first $1.50 from a CPA offer I'm promoting. Ya!

Now I just have to figure out where the clicker came from. Probably have to wait until tomorrow I guess since google's tools only update daily.

Anyway, hopefully this is the sign of good things to come.

      Thanks! I also got like 20 amazon clicks, but no purchases. But I don't know how often they update, so those could have been from yesterday.

        Also earned a $2.20 adsense click! But since google's tools are about the most unfriendly things in the world to use, I can't figure out which site it came from.

        If anyone could help, that would be great!

    If you look into some tracking (tracking202) then you can get instant results once you set it up.. No more waiting for google... Then you can optimize on the fly.. I'd advise taking the time to learn to set up advanced tracking... It will help you to take your campaigns to the next level when you are ready... In the meantime.. Congratulations on your first earnings!!!

      Ok, figuring out where this stuff is coming from... (not the adsense click yet)

      I ran an adwords test (i know next to nothing, but wanted to learn), And here's what I know so far (these day delays in teh data make it tough)

      I have 1 completed CPA offer for $1.50

      I have 1 adsense click for $2.20

      I have ~ 60 amazon clicks, but I only know this because I shortned the links with bit.ly, amazon only updates daily I guess, so I'll need to see the value of these if any.

      I paid $25.60 in advertising, drove 84 visitors to my site, of those ~60 clicked my amazon links. If they buy stuff I think I'm golden, if not, I'll use my free $100 in adwords pretty quick ($25/day limit).

      Anyway, just trying to sort all this out. I'm still brand new, but I know paying $25 to make $3.70 probably isn't sustainable long term...

        Should also mention I lowered my CPC maximum to something I think will actually be profitable, but I should know a little more tomorrow. I don't really expect to make a killing, but I have big ticket stuff on the site. so we'll see.

    Ha! You sound like me - just earned my first $1.24 from one of my Amazon affiliate sites the other day, and I've been doing this for four months now (probably not that long to some, but an eternity for me : ) Anyway, I was so excited about my $1.24 so congrats!

    My feelings was almost the same when I first made my first money Via Copeac Network. As if that was not enough, it was overwhelming when I got my first check in the post. Every mail seemed like the check I was expecting from copeac. But its all good. It feels great.

      Tracking ads: ask your CPA network. some of them have tracking software intalled that you can use and you will get stats through the complete process.

      the6thplayer:
      joining CPA networks could be tricky.

      There are some CPA free reports that go into detail.

      The better ones are more rigid.

      Most require that you have your own domain.

      A few are very easy to be accepted into.

      Be prepare to have a phone conversation with an affiliate (publisher) manager of the CPA you signup to join.
