need help!what is the difference between your web articles and articles for submitting?

Your web articles i mean the content within your website
Articles for submitting point to articles you will submit to articlebase.com and the like.
i think there are huge differences between them. Because articles for submitting are for traffic while web articles are for conversion. Am I right?

i am a newbie to IM. Recently I have been preparing content for my website. I want to hire someone to write all the contents, but I just don't know what kind of article to outsource because of the confusion above.
Who can help me? Thanks a lot.

You're best bet is to contact a writer directly and tell them what you are looking for. They will advise you on what type of article is best suited for your needs.

    Good luck.

I am a writer and I always ask my clients what it is they are looking for. If it is specifically for certain directories I write the articles much differently than content for a website. Also, if it is a review of a product that is much different than just content. It really does make a difference when it comes to what you are using the article for.

      Thanks Ben.
So here is another question for you.
If someone asks you to write articles for a XX health product selling website (just for an example), he only gives you the topic and the keywords. Do you know how to write the articles?
What else if the articles are for submitting and with the same topic and keywords?
      Will you write them same?
      What are the exactly difference?
      Thanks.

Well, the first thing I would do in this situation is ask my client if they are going to be using the article to submit to article directories or on their own website. If it is going to article directories I will pick a keyword for them that is popular and write the article using the keyword in the title and about once every 100 words. This is because some directories will reject the article if you repeat the keyword too much in the article.

If it is for their blog or website I write it similar, but I do not worry about how many times I use the keyword. Usually I will use it a little bit more.

I never write an article the same either. If I know the product that is going to be promoted or at least the subject I try to put myself in the shoes of the person that would be looking for that information and what they would want. Usually a quick google search will give me a good idea of what is already out there and what someone might be searching for.

Great questions and I like the distinctions you are making between the two. I have found that most people who are successful startout by identifying their outcome - what am I trying to achieve if the article produced a result? From that you can position the article to drive your desired result. Simple: Identify the outcome then create the content to drive to it. All the best, Susan Poole

    Yes and no.
You can use same article for submission in directories as website content.

The difference between writing for your website content and article directories is your goal.

On your site you ultimately want your visitor to buy something (or sign up to your list, or other specific purpose.) When writing an article for directory submission the goal is to get the reader to go to your site.

With that in mind, think of an article for directory submission like dangling a carrot.

Make it complete, but leave them wanting more. For example, your article may be about "5 Mistakes to avoid when...." and you must deliver those 5 mistakes in your article, but in your resource box you could offer the reader "3 more mistakes to avoid can be found at ....."

Insite and outsite articles are both important, just make sure not to use the same article both in your site AND a directory, such thing, in some cases, *might* cause you to get penalize by Google

It's perfectly fine to use the same article - post to your website first and then to directories. Have the resource box link to a different post or page on your site though.

No, in some cases posting the very same article to site owner AND a directory is a mistake. It is ok to do so if you submit to the directory at least 3-4 weeks after google saw the article in your web site AND saw it again the next time googlebot crawl owner site.

I'm talking here about your own article, or one that has been written specifically for you, not plr. If you're the author of the article then you can put it on your website and submit to article directories without waiting 3-4 weeks. There is no penalty for syndicating your content to different places.
