I need a lil help...what would you do?

I was doing some niche research and I think I might have hit something. The broad keyword within that niche gets 33,000 searches per month. Ppl are bidding on adwords, so I know it's a good market, and I have little competition.

I've come up with 7 keywords (couldn't find anymore worth going for) totaling around 4800 searches per month.

Each keyword has less than 6000 competing pages . (what more could I ask for) Will be super easy to make top 3.

The problem is...I found a click bank product to promote for it....BUT the gravity of that product is 3.75 and the avg. per sale is $12.82

The sales page doesn't look to bad, and it has some good content.

But what would you do? would you still promote that product even though the gravity is insanely low and average sale is $13 bucks.

Or would you find another affiliate program and look for a related product that you can make more money with.

I would probably look for something else to promote, you really aren't going to make much commission on your sales with that product. Having said that, if you can make a lot of sales then it still could be worth it.

Do you have enough knowledge on the topic to create your own product to sell?

If it is not too difficult, I would just create my own product and sell it instead of making money for someone else!

Yeah i agree with you. If its not difficult, why not do it yourself instead of working for someone else

Yea I have enough knowledge, because my mom deals with it..That's actually where I got the niche idea from. Decided to go see what the market look like. But I'm looking for another affiliate program right now, while its on my mind.

I was checking out the competition and was like wow...then I get to click bank...and was like wtf..lol...I'll see what can find. Thanks Sheryl and Morgan, Big Ups!

It is too low (Gravity) and Commission, but you could make your own product, which will double your commission or more. Look for other products, or push the Clickbank Product you have found, and sell own or related product off the back of it.

Ok, so the commission is low? So what??? So the gravity is low? (Actually that could be a VERY good thing.)

Do you know the market works? Do you know you can sell anything in it?

Start off testing your theories promoting the Clickbank product you found. If you start seeing sales, then you can quickly create your own product and replace the offer.

Making your own product before you have any idea if you can convert the traffic could be a total waste of your time.

Barry - I agree, good comment. No reason to embark on building your own product until you do a split test with 2 ads in this niche. Use that as your market research to justify whether you want to put the time into product creation.

Thanks, yea I'm just build a website around that product and see what happens. I actually just check the product out this morning again to make sure and noticed that the gravity and avg. sale has went up. So I'll see what happens. Thanks to all

Don't worry too much about the gravity of the product. Remember, the buyer can't see the gravity, all they can see is the sales page. If you think it's a good sales page then you can still make sales by promoting it. The factor though is the price. If you are happy earning $13 a sale then go for it. It may not sound like too much, but if you get those kind of traffic stats the money will add up fast.

I would get it out there and get some traffic to the site. One of my sites I promote a product that only makes me a little over $13 a sale and has a low gravity, but it makes me a few hundred dollars a month without any issue.

If you get traffic coming in and it does not sell, then you can change up the product. The key is get it up and going sooner rather than later.

Commission is too low. I would focus on high commission products (over $30) or simply create my own product.

If the niche is wide and there are opportunities to serve the same target audience different products (Weight Loss ---> diet -----> exercise etc) then I would do just that.

Selling your own product makes much more sense...
