Yes. Even if I decide that it's not profitable enough and I want to sell it, it'll sell for more than the cost of the domain, so it's profitable.

Yes, I always buy a separate domain name for each blog, for the same reason as Keith mentioned above. I usually try to get a domain name with a relevant keyword phrase.

depends how you are creating the blogs. If you are autoblogging, you may as well use the free hosting available at blogger and wordpress.

If you are doing it the hard way, you may as well give yourself a little 'insurance', and host it yourself so in future you can sell the domain if you have to.

In general, yes, primarily for resell purposes.

However, I do have some niche blogs that are in subdomains and some that are on Blogger blogs.

I use a reseller account, which makes it easier to manage several domains and add new hosting for each new domain name.

But yes, a new name for every blog.
