Opt-In Offer That People Cant Refuse

Hey Warriors,

I am building a list from visitors to an Article Directory. The article directory is very general and covers pretty much all topics. This means the visitors are also very general and not targeted to a specific niche.

I am having trouble trying to think of something that i can offer the visitors that they will struggle to refuse. What do you guys think i could offer them so they opt in.

    Hi Bob,

    Went by the article site and loving it. Layout everything. Except the pop up that's asking for my name and email without explaining anything... unless of course your site is still in beta and I wasn't supposed to even be there

    Anyway, to answer your question, how about keeping it simple...

    Offer to notify me of new articles in the areas of my interest. That's pretty irresistible to me AND hardly done so much by the more prominent article directories. Want to push this even harder? And possibly grow your site's content even faster? Offer your article contributors the service of notifying them when a "competing" article is posted

    That way you get people rushing back to post and keep posting not to be outdone.. Just some thoughts from my POV.

    How about a free guide that tells them how they can get the most, more results from their article marketing there and then inside the guide,

    explain how they can really benefit more by

    upgrading to the more "professional" account where they get all the

    bells and whistles, have their articles featured, entered into a co-opt

    advertising pool or just all of the ways you can think to add more value.

    Then of course recommend strongly that they upgrade right then

    inside the guide and have a prominent link with a strong call to action

    to take their order.

    so you are adding value to your members by helping them get the most.

    You may even be able to offer personal coaching for a reasonable fee

    to both you and your members and give them a more hands on help

    as a "platinum" option to upgrade.

    Now, of course we know it won't be for everyone, but those who are
    interested in the quality and the results it affords

    are the ones who will take you up on the offer.

    And you can make sure the option to upgrade is inside the members' area,
    backoffice, homepage, etc.

    You can also offer them the right to brand the free guide with their own

    aff link inside to the upgrade option and give them a commission for every

    "pro" and "platinum" member they refer through their efforts.

    That ought to build you some momentum.

      Thanks for visiting Articoolz.com. It is very much still in beta, still putting it together. I just found the opt in forum plugin for the site and I had it open on my desktop to fill in the details. I didnt know what to offer, thats why I was asking this question. I have since deactivated it until i know for sure what im going to use.

      I lover your idea about notifying publishers about articles that have been published by their competition. Im not sure how i could implement that info the opt-in form. A drop down box where they select their desired category would do the trick but the plugin has limited options. Might have to do some php scripting.b
