Note: I am planning to sell my own product and not become an affiliate for someone else.

Hi,

Which Aff management do you recommend?

MY choices as of now is
  1. e-junkie
  2. Clickbank
WHich do you suggest? I was planning for e-junkie. It allows payment to paypal account if I am correct.

Do you prefered e-junkie personally?

You will do better with spending your time spamming other forums.

WHy do you think clickbank is good?

        Hello Remsleep,

I use Clickbank from time to time. But you must read their policies. They have changed their Terms and conditions recently I would suggest you read them before promoting any product.

There is on policy on payments that has always been there but I've found not many people know about it.

Click Bank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:
        • Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
        • Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or European Direct Debit(ELV)). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

I don't know about you I never buy things with my Credit Card I always use PayPal. So you can have $100's or $1000's in commission but if they have all been made with PayPal you won't get paid.

I cannot comment on e-junkie as I've never used it.

You mentioned RAP. RAP stands for Rapid Action Profits. This is a script which is used to sell front end, OTO products and services. You can also set up an affiliate and JV program with RAP.

The owner of the Affiliate program will set up the percentage of sales that get paid.

The thing I like most about RAP is the fact you get paid directly into your PayPal account.

        Here's an example.

Let's say you start promoting a product that sells for $10 and has a sales percentage of 70%. This would mean you would get 100% commission for 70% of your sales.

        10 Sales x $10 = $100 you would earn $70
        100 Sales x $10 = $1000 you would earn $700

I use Rapid Action Profit on my site and just love it, it is so easy to use and set up new products and manage the commissions.

        I hope this helps?

        Matt

          Hi Matt,

Thanks for your reply. Well I must say that I am planning to sell a product and want to manage the affiliates. I am not doing affiliate marketing for some one elses product.

I went ahead and looked at RAP... Read some reviews and understand that it has instant paypal payment system. However, when it comes to refund policy, it lacks clarity.

Anyway.. I am planning to go with e junkie at the time being. Clickbank seems to be the host of many scam products. I have been paid 3 times by clickbank as an aff marketer...

Right now I am going teh product route

Ok, you're taking the same route as myself but I also promote other peoples products as well.

Refunds with RAP are the responsibility of your Affiliates as they get paid directly. You would resolve any product or technical issue.

            I wish you luck,

            Matt

    Hey Remsleep,
Choosing a right product in affiliate marketing is not a very easy task.E-Junkie provides you a URL where you can sign up and receive buttons for direct or indirect payments. On the other hand E-Junkie is more flexible and you can get absolute control over affiliate percentage. Moreover with E-Junkie you can centrally manage your product to admin panel.
So i think you should take a chance and paid your full attention.May be your luck will favor you.

    hey yo ,
i think both of them are awesome. if you think E-junkie fulfill your requirment then its ok. but i personally use clickbank and its good too. in both of them you can get lot of ads and level of choice is also enough so go for them and start incoming.

With e-junkie the one disadvantage I see is that they have a monthly payment scheme and also there is no "hungry affiliate" audience. Almost everyone who go into affiliate marketing first goes on to clickbank. They have a one time fee....

So its really tough to make the choice. Clickbank vs e-junkie...

The problem I see with clickbank is that many people might have bought less than quality products through clickbank and when they see a similar checkout process, they might be reluctant to buy

I would use clickbank, if you have a quality product you can have hundreds of affiliates promoting it.

But isnt it true that a handful of affiliates account for more than 90% of the sales??? So should i focus on the bulk of the affiliates or the quality few?

It's absolutely true, but finding that "quality few", and convincing them to promote your product isn't all that easy for a new merchant. Of course, offering instant commissions can't hurt in that recruiting process, but why limit yourself?

By all means, try to recruit the best affiliates you can find - but don't limit your product exposure and recruiting efforts.

You never know which new affiliate marketer will wind up being a super affiliate. Wouldn't it be nice if they were already signed up to your affiliate program, and received an announcement email every time you released a new product for them to sell, or offered a discount coupon for his/her customers?

    Hi remsleep

There are many scripts you can install on your site and use to manage your affiliate program yourself. The two most common "flavors" are:

    1. A RAPS/7DS style system whereby affiliates get paid 100% of the sale, every other sale etc and this relies on affiliates giving refunds should they be requested.

    2. A system whereby you get paid all the money and pay affiliates after your refund period has been satisfied - this way you control refunds.

I'm not sure how the affiliate system works on eJunkie but on Clickbank you will get affiliates easier but have no control over refunds.

    Hope this helps

    David

eJunkie is the easiest solution to get started THIS SECOND selling anything. And incredible easy to setup. That's why I endorse it highly. Has built in Affiliate also. And is $5 p/m for more sellers.

Using Clickbank... the advantage is... you're automatically outsourcing % of your marketing... because through CB people find YOU as they look for offers. So this fact always beats out using a self-hosted solution like RAP.

Otherwise... if you're thinking going 6-figures enterprise empire... then Delavo is what you want as an extremely comprehensive eCommerce/Affiliate management system.

A self-hosted affiliate management solution doesn't rule out the ability to have affiliates find/market your product via an affiliate network (like Clickbank). Finding affiliates for RAP products is just as easy (maybe even easier).

All that is required is to list your RAP product at RAP Bank (an affiliate network with ONLY instant commission offers) after you get it set up.

They have about 9,000 affiliates (as of this writing), and more and more affiliates find them every day because of the ability to earn "instant commissions" via the RAP merchants who have listed their products.

Since RAP Bank (RAP Bank*Instant Commissions Vault) is less than a year old, you know that these are currently active affiliates, as opposed to people who signed up 7 or 8 years ago, and have since abandoned their internet marketing activities.
